Hello, Mrinal here. I had to go to the East Thaliparambu area for something related to Nagaland and Lakshadweep. So we are here in the afternoon and there is Nidhin Hotel here. I have wished to have every dish from this shop for a long time. It’s a small restaurant with old style doors. I have heard that they serve magic with the rice they serve. So I have asked for small portions of every dish they have there. They will give chicken and beef but mutton is sold out. We will come for that another day. Let’s satisfy by chicken and beef by now. Serving the dishes after taking them on a plate-like that is an old style. We had plates like this in all shops and they served small quantities of hot tasty food at a minimal price. See how amazing the colour of that fish curry is. So we have bought all the food. We have also bought Ayala. The next thing we need is a place to have this food. And we have found a beautiful riverside for that. Will the water go inside through this? If so, rainwater will also go in. We would have brought rice from our home. Oh my god. They have served pickles, Cabbage upperi, and a pachadi. These are packets of sambhar and fish curry. And this is beef. All these packets would easily fit inside a pocket. Anyway, they are amazing. Let’s open the packet and that’s Ayala in there. That’s a fatty sambhar. Oh My God. The beef is mind-blowing. It’s the country beef with a very little spiciness. I can smell beef on the tip of my fingers. That was chicken liver and that’s fabulous. That’s Kannur style Sambhar. Let’s take a piece of fish too. It has a strong flavour of mustard. Pickle is amazing. I recently conducted a poll on Instagram asking the reasons why people don’t like me. Many responded that they don’t like me as I don’t like cabbage. There is all kind of pieces of beef in here. When there are mixed pieces in the beef dish, then it would taste much better. Let’s have some pachadi with it to increase the taste. As we mixed that, it had the taste of mustard earlier but this is pure beef. See how easily the chicken is coming off the bones. Keep the bones away. So here we have the meat-free from bones. This is a version of chicken in between fry and roast. Unlike this, chicken nowadays is prepared mostly as curry or fry. Here they have taken the effort and time to roast it well and good. I am out of words. Let me have it once more. Masala over the meat is amazing. Let me have this chicken leg. The level of this chicken is much beyond the sky. There is no one here to share this happiness. My wife would have been happy now as she loves chicken so much. If I knew that it would be this great, I would have bought some for home. Let me keep this bone away. I would have had the upperi also with this if it wasn’t cabbage. It’s a surprising situation when we are confused to choose chicken or beef as the better one. Chicken is that amazing. This is fish curry. Let’s have that too. That’s a proper fish curry. I would love to have the food thereafter the shop is open for dine-in. It would be a great experience. I am out of my words. Earlier, rice would be leftover if we buy it wrapped in a banana leaf. As time passed, it not like that now.
