different um although this is stating episode one this is actually a continuation of the ea green gum series as you can see they are uh in league in there um obviously what's happened is i am now the manager of marseille um basically i finished this season with a gingham let's just click on this there and wins of getting promoted by winning the league title at a canter and the changes that we made to the team were just above and beyond what you'd expect you can see the league in first uh competition did not complete that and it did we won the track we won the trophy uh if we click on it here it should there you go on league there 2022 that was us um yeah the the the people that we brought in actually did very well and the team itself was performed very very well um and it all just sort of clicked into place and and we smashed it and got promoted and i was preparing for the pre-season uh getting ready on martin uh and you know this save was never gonna be a a one club save if if need be and the whole point was to sort of just play the game in france and try and overtake psg um and i was like to have done it with gingkomp but but um marshall came in um they're in a bit of a fall they didn't qualify for any european competition um vyash bowas got sucked uh the squad's a bit of a mess and they they came in for me and i i just took it um i'm just going to show you this like you can see the transfers in and out um the club itself i don't know if i'll be able to show you it but it's just no i can't even show you right now um it's just absolutely pissing money um i was having to constantly sell just to try and recoup something uh you can see there all these people on a free are people that that we found using the the monty method um which is where you sort of net trace players uh you check that there's you know the availability with the agent you check everything literally everything um which was the whole point of the series um and yeah i mean look there's fran he was one of the better performers he ends up having to go he was kicking off there was a few people kicking off about the quality of the coaching staff and whatnot and um they'll do very very well to stay in league in um and i thought we'd outgrown them um and we've come into marseille you can see there's a lot of promises from frank mccourt who is the the president um gotta keep the director of football in place but that's fine because i will show you for why is that he's absolutely fantastic and obviously this method of what we're doing is about the director of football um you see him here 20 ability 20 potential 40 negotiating with a professional personality and he's also got 18 working with youngsters so we've got him bringing the youth players through he's actually their president in real life now because the club is in such a state um so you know it's a massive club we've gone from from 2000 fans in a 19 000 seater stadium to i think the the stop velodrome is like a 60 000 stadium if i'm not mistaken 67 000 um the it's just mild it's just such a big jump but it's something that we've taken on and and we're going to take her from there and what i'm going to show you then is first of all the squad um if you click on that you can see it's not a very big score they've had to trim it tactics wise we we never sort of stick to one particular tactic if need you know it's not a plug and play game um however um the players at disposable at the squad we're very much in keeping with the the 433 that i like to play um let's just pick without restriction fifth best 11.nand no that's not true this is how we are to line up and not moroccan either it's treatment fear wrongly that is also a no that is dear dearie me deary me we play tobin as a winger and i'll show you why now because we've got juan mata was munshi the the boxer box i can't remember our box the boxes munchies come through box the box i can't remember what it is it's a puffer guy oh we're off to a flyer anyway and this is how we line up it's still attacking because the boards won't attack on football um we don't want your blessing we don't know the defense be more expressive uh and the rest of it stays as standard the goalkeeper is steve mandel he's good with his feet um but we just tell him to distribute to the full box and more because we like to build from the back um we've got two good ball playing defenders high line of engagement and more agents and basically when i come in the club was it it's in a bit of a state still to be completely honest with you you look at the transfer history um last season um so this is the season i was still at gingham and have a little look at who they got rid of so they lost maximum lupus to swallow um i actually quite like him i was scouting him at gingham um but he ultimately chose to swallow uh who else does dario bendetto and dimitri payet went on very very low transfer fee but you can see physically he's probably not up to it now um and leo jardine the backup brazilian goalkeeper and they brought in a few people uh liverland from us at the time a couple of threes who i think i've sent these out on loan now yeah and the son of five both out on loan um this guy fused oviera very good player but they're sort of that they were sort of overloaded for deep lying players in the middle and back up left back they got one matter in on a free transfer who we've kept around and despite the fact that his his physicals are rapidly declining he brought in diego acosta and you can see i've moved them on just although it would have been fun um he was kicking off because he didn't think i was qualified enough for the job and endo from stuttgart very good very experienced japanese international and he's going to be one of the ball winner midfielders alejandro pezrello luckily he's not on a massive wage but he's valued quite highly um i'm tempted to play him as a box the box i think he's definitely got the stats for her but other than that he's 30 years of age and i kind of want rid of him um modarami amazing amazing player on this game we just need to to get some of these trades he's got runs with ball often but we're going to play him as a center forward and see his finishing's not great so we're trading him to round the goalkeeper and then we want to train him to um to run in the middle of the pitch so we can literally just play in between the posts and on out on juma they've ended up they agreed um a future fee with him and it was like 16 million i think uh and this guy caladus adibay um this guy is an absolute behemoth 23 or malian he's six foot seven and he's actually quite quick and he's going to be on the back ups as well so he's just something to me coming in now and the concerns of getting 18 and a half million pounds worth in for players including 10 million for jordan amari um and then just a couple a little just thin in the squad really they just had so many players alvaro 32 uh george miron 28th never gonna really do anything uh jeremy leverland we got rid of because he's just knuckles enough for this division uh diego across there as i said earlier so on and these are the guys that are brought in you see dungeon came in for 15 million uh aruna sangante was already agreed as was adam mirasich and then we did a favorite international skeleton for free transfers and we came up with this guy david binyus um he's a portuguese under 21 international he was released by porto um he's gone out on loan um to patabon in the bundesliga we then there was these two guys as well just a couple of africans the border and go on about san and african players so i thought well let's have a little look and these guys are performing very well for their national teams you can see they're not you know they're not expected to do much impact sub i'm not know but like this guy is like the most physical player i've seen at the club or any club really mentally and technically he's pretty garbage but he's he's only really going to come on at the end of games just to run people ragged um once you came in from barcelona he was a deep-lying playmaker cover um we were expected to lose a couple of more players but those transfers didn't go through we also brought in emerson and malang tsar on loan uh melangsar and gideon mensah are going to be the two left backs alternating because marvie's gone and then we brought in a massive um the fans were kicking off and the board didn't seem too happy with it and but we we need as a backup striker and i know matthew can perform and we identified it in the last video that if you you create the quality a chance then fate and can finish them and and i think with the team that we've got we can definitely definitely create the the quality of chance that's that's needed um but i mean you can see it's quite thin on the ground um i'm trying to wrap my uh was it wrong yeah it was wrong gear was going to be the actually no he was going to be the dlp and vera maybe is the box the box i can't remember there's one of the two but now looking at it i'm thinking um i'm thinking petraelo but um yeah i know it's a bit of a bit of a random but a bit out of the blue um but this is how we're gonna do it um we set pablo longoria to um initiate signings for first team b team and under 19 and players we've also got him doing contracts on whatnot and we are also really expecting him to bring the youth players to because he's got a good personality although we did bring in um christian speakman um from birmingham uh i'm pretty sure everyone knows at this point he's a very good health has a youth development i'm going to give him like a year to settle in um to france and then maybe put him back in charge because then he'll you'll have a better understanding of where these players are coming from and so on and whatnot it just feels a bit weird like restarting the save again um but you know we saw them either maybe i'll bet we're going to lie in here um i'm just really concerned now that wrong gear can't play box the box because he's not that aggressive but his positioning and is off the ball are both pretty much the same anticipation's good uh he was a 30 million pound transfer tiger for fiorentina he turned them down uh we also had a boubacar camera was really wanted by gangju everground and i just set his asking price to like 25 million and he'd be the street away so i just kept opening it open it up and open it and i ended up settling on 50 million pounds and they were actually um willing to pay that and he turned them down um which you know he's a fantastic defender so it's not the end of the world you can see there you go exe rejected the contract offer from them um but since then what we've had to do um we we need to sort the scout on out and for this munchie method to work we need a lot of net tracking and to go in place so what uh i do as i've explained in previous videos is we send scouts out to the leagues that are either clusters better than the league we're currently in or just below and then i've got one guy in morgan boulier just scouting well basically and we do it from june to december and then from january or the start of january up until um the end of the season basically we we just whittle down those targets so we just need to find a big pool of players as fast as possible um you see like premier league the only problem with the premier league players is is that their wages are going to be absolutely astronomical um and on that list there's only three interested in the transfer for interest in the transfer dennis pratt though um good vehicle player you can see that he's on 75 grand a week and again it's a dlp we don't really need that um and we need to sort of cultivate a culture at the club now where although in real life sevilla will bring people into of an older age you look like jesus navas and more recently they've replaced ever been eager with papua gomez and you know we we can't delve into the 30s and so so as such i don't actually tell them to look for anything in particular i just go you go there for six months and you find me any single player within a six month period and we we take it from there basically uh we then our density shortlist and then we will look down as you can see the skeleton team was very good anyway i brought eddie mester and gerardo torrado over with me other than that all these other guys are already at the club um i'm interested to see who's found benjamin beauregard again dlp we don't need um yeah that's how that's how we do it and for those who don't know um to find out which leagues are in and around or better than you damn the league that you're currently in if you just click on um the league that you're actually playing in and you'll find the um the competition reputation there so we've got one portugal russia one on holland one in the bundesliga one in the premier league and then we've just sent one out to um to league in as well just to see we can find um interestingly enough you might have noticed in the top right hand corner there is that leon actually managed to break psg's chokehold and win the league title last year um if you have a little look at their squads they've not necessarily improved all that much marcus edwards has come in and he's just a joke of a player on this game if you've not used them like every single save he turns out amazing um and this guy as well barrow i think it's just a case of leon i've got some very very very fast players and fedor chalov i can see on the bench there bruno gomes uh jeffrey and adelaide tomorrow great there's just so many players that they've got that have got pure pace denier at the back as well um and yeah so they've broke the chokehold um which was obviously one of our targets which you know it was never really that doable in all honesty but it would have been nice to have done it and obviously that's not gonna happen now so our next target is to be the first french team since marseille to an european trophy we are now marseille so it's now to be the first french or well just first french team since marseille to win the european trophy we're going to try and do it as marseille um and yeah there's not really much more i can show you than this we've got a game coming up in a couple of days so i'm just going to live come that's against dad breast and you'll basically see firsthand what what i'm seeing um i've still got i've got like all my set pieces this the defensive one still not set up put me attachment is and so on and so forth captains and whatnot and we're going to have to learn a new team and laying it well and and see if we can use this munchy method to um to cultivate the club basically um there's a lot going on and there's a lot that needs changing and in particular battle goalkeeper you've seen the the brazilian guy that and they sold last season for pretty much nothing and then it's this guy on the bench i mean he's he's from the academy cameroonian international um not amazing but not bad other than that there's not a lot of depth i mean you can see i've got three lone players then without them you may be looking at a maybe a 24 25 month squads but no one with real depth and we're still trying to move people out on loan and so yeah i'm gonna go up to the game against press now and you um we're just gonna live coming game there's not much we can do unfortunately just quickly before we um we crack on with the game and part of this sort of this method of um if playing football managers you do is obviously looking in statistics and whatnot and and looking at players that are undervalued and what we we've decided we're going to do as of this season with marseille and we've not got an awful lot of money and obviously we were we were trying to do this anyway with um with gingham but i just don't think financially they'll be able to compete at all and what we are going to try and do is look for undervalued players within um sort of the tough divisions and so what we've done is we've gone on the player search um and uh the skeleton tab and look for player search and we've quite simply just look for transfer list of players in the top in this division and if we do it by player value and you can see there's a few decent players martin terrier good little winger uh jonathan bamber of course who um in all honesty will probably add a lot to our team and this is why i do these things live i sort of get these ideas in my head as i'm going along reports assigned scout paolo longoria um or pablo longoria so we send him out because obviously he's 20 and 20 and and and this is how we're going to get like an idea normally um because it's the the scouts who found all the ones and the normal scout thing ad then san pablo on planning to san pablo longoria to look at them himself over a prolonged period of time so normally i'll do that from between like um january and and maybe the end of feb so we could take a couple of months of watching them um you look at you look at jonathan bamberg he's level headed he's really fast he's at giants quick and how much did he want for him do you want 2.9 million pound for him and he is a player who in real life has done very well at leel um i mean we're talking about undervalued players do you want 2.9 million i'm gonna be cheeky no that's just getting the 2.9 2.8 oh there we go 2.99 there you go so we're just going to drop a little 2.9 on him um and sort of take it from there and you might have noticed that on like an earlier screen and said about mctominay and he was transferring to them when united oddly enough um but he is the premier league players wages are just astronomical um and as i say yeah i mean we still want guys who who fit the dna and sort of fit what we're trying to do um personally i'd love if there was a goalkeeper on here that's fairly decent but i don't think there is one just on face value of it and no there's no um i mean that's javio as well he's normally a good little player good defensive feel the good mark and pass and tackling technique quite aggressive six point two five two one for him seven mil uh we did have a little look at yusuf kone um he's fairly cheap as well um but we decided not to go for him in the end and then you know we just take it from there so um literally change it off let's say germany bundesliga um a league that's better than the league we're in again we we do it so it's um to make sure that they're interested in coming to us because if they're not interested there's literally no point and i always do it as unsure because sometimes money talks or you can have a little conversation with them and persuade them so i feel like it will be in real life and i mean obviously you know i'm an evan fan and i don't think hamas rodriguez would ever have signed for evangelothy was a manager so um you kind of a lot of sway as a manager so that's that's the logic and doing it that way um but again patrick go player do you want 5.5 million for him he's a very good striker on this game really again so this is this is how we're looking at the underlying plays luca klosterman and again conrad lymer he's another good player 5 million pound for him 25 years of age born in midfielder will fit perfectly on our team perfectionist apart from the fact he gets forward which we don't like and there are some good players knocking about patient that he's a good player uh maximum wooji turns out quite good on this game but whether he's done so well it's stuck out recently he's okay he's okay he's not he's not growing that well uh daily synthetic an excellent left back 1.2 million so it's definitely something that we're going to go we're going to go down uh whether we start telling florian where transfer listed okay um yeah whether this is something that we're going to go down i don't know but we'll we'll have to see and i definitely want to do it this way but whether we send scouts looking for transfers to players or not is a bit different obviously a player can become transfer listed and then decide afterwards that he wants to stay and that can be a whole thing and i'm just looking patrick didn't do that well at leverkusen last season on this and but did they pay big money for him 23 million you scored six goals in two seasons but as an advance forward he's got everything that you want really his decisions aren't great but he's off the ball worker anticipation composer it's finishing technique it's fast five and a half and he had done 56 grand which is not bad because we've got you know diego costa was on like 87 grams wheels and stuff like that and if we just compare him to muhammad rami the two very different players but you can see attribute wise it's quite close obviously they offer different things um if anything chick's actually a better striker and dorami is probably a better winger which um if you click on modern i think it actually does say that his best position is yeah inverted winger attack and that's just giving me something to think of there with patrick i'm gonna go for that you know how much did you want five and a half i'm playing i'll pay five and a half i'm happy with that we were going to bring roca in from gump um he destroys people for me last year and but we now we found patrick i think we go for him and maybe not try and um dwell too much on on the past and i wanted to bring um matthew feyton in and but he was more so to provide back up to this guy this kickass guy and he scored nine and 33 since signing um relatively low from uh gumaras it looks like he's playing for there um but i'm going to pop him out on loan especially if we get chicken i'm not bothered by the way doesn't that we've got enough money to cover it um and faking can be the third choice the rally then can cover the wings and potentially then it would mean that mata doesn't play as often and tauvan can play his natural position as an invader winger and dorami and then we can we can push it all up together up the pitch um we've also got danjuma yeah i think we're going for that i didn't go on for that we'll we'll see if he comes in match day sadly it's not the uh the velodrome um but we are in telly we have been focused and uh we'll be keeping an eye on how gums do and i don't see it going very very well for them um sadly and i'm thinking because um schick hasn't signed yet neither has bamba we might just go with a with mata and play how we were intending to play anyway um kamara is not going to burnley and definitely not for 15 million might even be laying on that we have to start knocking off the top uh he wants to go balance that's not happening um but we will do that and the reason we're not going balanced is there was a lot of um promises that i had to make the board to get the job in the first place don jim is not fully fit let's get mata back in let's swat tobin and mata there we go andromeda up front uh is uh we need let's drop a swallow for gideon mensah and i'm happy with that and yeah and one of the promises was attacking football um which is something that i like to do anyway so that's fine oh those numbers are a mess but let's play anyway and that's something i i like doing as we go anyway so we'll we'll keep it going you see in a hufflepuff kingdom we literally very very rarely deviated from playing attacking and even when we went against the bigger tides we just finished saw that we're going to go to them and you know it took us took us two seasons but we completely changed the squad rounds and we we got ourselves promoted so hopefully we can um we can push on with my say get some european european football under our belts and push on from there be interesting to see how uh the computer handles the new uh the new stream and setup probably not very well there's a reason i have top it's so low in the first place but we got on the way with the muhammadur army it just looks so weird i'm so used to seeing the what the ball matter i'm so used to seeing the the getting on kids they look so good in game especially they awake hit the white one but uh nice positive start i've got a nice ball over the top i think mata is going to be one of those players that could either be really really good or absolutely horrendous for us this season i've got two league tables here's emerson shorter wrong year juan mata emerson i'm not normally one for the 3d but the match engine this year is really good just a shame that doesn't show up as good on recordings so annoying so annoying don't think it's gonna run all that well it doesn't look like it's going particularly well um can we change that one to start nope i'll do i normally leave it to about 18 minutes before we give a little shelf um demand more from them because we've literally not touched the ball they've had 69 possession one gear away is total on this is what we want on the brief with the piece if you can get it oh it's gone it's confident and can set a car easy save so the same camera's got a tight thigh we'll ignore it for now but we'll keep an eye on that and could be a hamstring injury which obviously we don't want so let's out of the way tauvan doesn't get there that's a long ball which man thunder should deal with eyes you can see a lot of off placements on the left-hand side but toban's been having a shocker so it's a bit i'm a bit stumped the issue is it's the first live comment done in about three four episodes and it's not gone very well and i think we definitely need to address veera and tauvan um far from pleased if we drop the ramen to an inverted player versus winger on attack and fear is not played well let's get mon chu in for vera and i'm going to bring mata off purely because his um his physicals aren't great and we're gonna go for it and bring matthew into the fold um saying he's one and a half star he's he's not a one and a half star he's not you know you're not that bad that's that's a bit unfair and and yeah we see it wouldn't be the best to start with it let's be honest but again it's another club we've had to come into we can just gut the squads because it's just not up to the standard that it should be and i think that's the biggest issue is you know i don't like doing it it's not the best to have a massive overhaul but all the stuff left so i had to bring in all new stuff or new you know there was a couple of scouts left over that was it and and the playing squad wasn't amazing so we've got to overhaul so we're gonna have to it might might be slow but i still think at least europa league could be on the cards if we play our card right but here's matthias feyton who's giving the street away on his first touch of the ball mario junior godzilla good defender mate keep it alive strokeman to munch you to van gogh tacomanchu now there's mohammed the rame faking terror good little one too though i like that uh i don't know if he's just struggling or whether he's just yeah i think it might be that aerially he's not the best and we'll see here's the romney what a run mate oh my days what a run that is um i'm gonna bring sarah for gideon mensah i think he's struggling aerially and that they're gonna start targeting that um and we're gonna drop tovan down to inverted winger support i think he's just running a bit too much with the ball rather than getting balls into the into the danger zone there's emerson strokeman wrong here and armies in again he's getting in he's getting in quite often out of the way is gideon set get it away get away very lovely delivery away by amazon again is that a good game emerson when it yes and we know their army loves a good runner goal get it across he's still going oh he loves it i think his finishing's not the best but his technique is good so am i getting to start killing the ball or placing his shots i think that might be the the key to unlock under armour on the wing another corner and calcetta car has got that you know set pieces on this game are very similar to what they used to be back in the day behind my fm 12 when you could get editor alvarez bellanta and it's got 20 goals a season and it's literally just near post they put your two center back so your two best editors at the ball in the opposed and one of them gets on the end of it nine times out of ten uh we sort of gingham with a king green gum with other so we were scored on like seven to ten goals a season and but we've absolutely batted these so i'm glad we got that goal and just if there's just a few worrying things up front that i'm clicking just yet and i think dorama getting in behind when mata's playing is good so i think we know if we're playing mata if we play a pc forward he will unlock the door and get him through and tovan's been quite wasteful today so i'm not quite sure how to to mess around with his role for that and that's clear the way um under army i think if his finishing was a little bit better and then he'd be a bit more dangerous cutting in from that wing his toe run again and calcetta car and it's safe by a lot of sunny air let's just give him a straight back there's flute divan strokeman go play here's get the inventor good delivery to romney yeah he's definitely better on the wing when he's got room to spread his legs and spread those legs stretch his legs and then get a run off we absolutely dominated these i think one that was a bit unfair then drilling down and seeing the actual stats would be quite interesting but it's something i'll do off camera and um keep an eye on i want to know what was here before the visualizer because it can't be matched that ah well we love their formation just to see if anything changes but we don't adapt all that often we play our game and make people look after us that's the way i think it should be i think once we started getting more of the ball and that's when they started going up but and i think they were literally just damage control it was just keep the ball and don't let us have it it's a ted of the way again the romney will pick set just couldn't control it and yeah i think just based on the viewing of it as a winger and he's going to be a lot more dangerous as i say it's just how we uh we maximize on him on the way uh his final ball whether it's an actual shot or a cross i'm not too sure how we go about that but again it's a new team we're gonna have to get used to the players as wrong here picks it off and finds what i think is faking oh he's one of them players that just he just performs well like i said at the start of the video yeah if you give him a quality chance he finishes it he's got the attributes and that's a quality chance he's one one it's a first-time shot and he's back there he's got the attributes he runs with the ball through the center he beats the offside trap and he hits the shots first time like he's lit he's literally what you want is like a poacher and he runs forward i'm made up for you scored you know who needs patrick hey i need patrick chick please don't take me down patrick please don't turn me down the it's a good win uh i think two nils that we're not gonna about so well i think two nails a bit flatter than on uh for stop rest to be honest because they did nothing literally nothing in that game um i'm gonna have to do the post match as well and that's another one of the board promises but i'll speak to the media because my media control is awful but i think everyone's like that on that game i'd let me know if you actually sit there and go through the press conferences and that you know you're a better man than i because i can't stand doing it um it's just it's so tedious i wouldn't mind if it was changed up a bit but the questions are literally the same every single time and it's just too much um but yeah a good win a nice two-nil victory um my guy matthias god robbie fowler of the french league getting it on the act uh it was a great march everyone according to plan superb defensively and we didn't allow a shot on goal i think that was more because stab breasts were awful to be completely honest with you um that's a very very good start it looks as though gingham haven't oh they're playing nine o'clock don't they and but yeah we're gonna leave it there and obviously it's not the episode i thought i was going to be bringing you with them you know drilling down for for transfers and and whatnot and but it's a it's a kickoff of a new season with a new team with one of the best directors of football in the game and that's you know we're trying to implement the director football strategy into it into a club to take
