Welcome back to the cabin. Thanks for watching that video. Know it was a short one, and the next couple arengonna be short as well because it is my 25th weddingnanniversary this year, and my wife and I decided to celebrate it by visiting a place thatnwe were supposed to visit on our honeymoon, actually, and we decided on somethingncompletely different, and as things happen in life, never got back to making that trip, making that commitment, especially because once we had kids, the focus, for a long time, was just taking them out andndoing family stuff together, so this is our firstntime that we’ve been able to just get out and enjoy eachnother for a couple of weeks and to see a place thatnwe always wanted to see, so that’s what we did. Like I said, that’s whynthese videos are short. I’m gonna have a hard time catching up and getting some longer videos out, but I will do that bynthe end of September, or maybe the third week in September, but more than anything,nI’m kind of rushing around, I will be when I get back, to get this stuff caught up that I wanted to get done before winter, so at least getting, well, I need to get thendoor on the greenhouse. I need to finish up ancouple of beds in there, get that well finishednso it’s fully operational by the time the waternfreezes in the creek. Need to finish off the basement. One more section I need tonget completely watertight, and then I want all of the logs here, all of my building materials, nall my planks, everything, my mill covered up, all ofnthat in place, ready to go, so when I get snow, inevitably, in probably November isnwhen it’ll come and stay, I need to make sure thatnI can access everything and that it doesn’t slow me down, so to answer the questionsnthat I keep getting about whether this will bendone before the snow falls, not even a chance. I will just have probably a couple ofncourses of the walls up, but I don’t know. I’m excited about that part, anyway, and working conditions, I like working much better innthe late fall and the winter on something like this in the forest, so that’s the plan. I cut this one short at this stage, even though I didn’t get a lot done for the reason I just mentioned, but if you wanted to seenhow this porch turned out, then make sure you tunenin to next week’s video, the following Friday’snvideo, sometime in the early, probably first week or two of September I’ll put a link to that video in the bottom left-handncorner of the screen, and in the top left-handncorner of the screen will be the playlistnfor this 2021 homestead so you’ll see everythingnI’ve done this year in chronological order fromnJanuary 1st, essentially, so that’s it. I’m gonna get back to work, nso thanks for watching. Appreciate it, and I look forward to seeingnyou at the cabin next time. Take care. (paws crunching) (loon calling)
