i mean i’ve said it each and every year you know i just haven’t said it publicly so i’m gonna start off with doug miller being the man that’s the end of the press cool cool cool i can get out of here i get it sean talking enough for everybody so ken where do you feel uh you’re at right now uh you ready to roll even without this last pre-season game am i i think you know we still got one pre-season game left that my target is week one always my target is the next upcoming practice um and we’ll take it take full advantage of breaking down the film and getting better from that um so am i ready absolutely we got a little bit of of game time touch this last game i think we got a quick three series of three series ten plays so one of them series i think they got a first down gotta work we gotta work harder than that um but that was best case scenario for our defense the way we like to show out and we got to keep that high standard hopefully in the week one hey sean sean referred to the defensive interior uh interior defensive line as an alert position for us right now i guess because of the availability of bodies can you recall it being like this between you know offseason changes and injuries hey man i mean you know we all knew coming in this season you know you lose uh sheldon you lose malcolm brown we’re going to lose you know dave don yamada the first little part of the week um our first part of the season these things that we knew coming in so you know whether we’re down a number is not we have guys that we need to have play and dalton seemed to have been doing well as well really well we’ll see you next year so what is your take on uh howard huggins big huggy um i think that as an interior lineman he he plays strong um you know i feel like he’s he’s one of these power guys and we knew coming in who’s gonna be a power guy um i do think that eventually you know we’re gonna have to have one of our d tackles and come to third down pass pressure um but maybe when malcolm brooch comes back you know we’ll have that so what grade you give uh david on yamada dn david yamada is a is a superior athlete at any position you put him at from nose to now 11 technique he can do it all what do you like about that though when you’re seeing him out there just i mean the more you can do right is always been the name of the game and i mean uh for him to have it have adapted to being on the outside edge where you have more space and i think he’s i saw him do a do a euro chop chop last game i’m pretty excited for him um i think it may bode well if we ever decide to do it now a three dn package he could be one of those 3d hands no doubt no doubt whenever whenever he comes back you know we know the uh the power that he brings with him so we’ll be glad to have him back once we i guess lose him i’m not even sure how those rules work is a lot of practice so he can practice right now right come season he gotta get out of here [Music] i don’t really miss practices like even like they have to send me in so i don’t i don’t know how this works [Applause] i work i work on what we got he mentioned something about you not really being a guy that um attacks by eluding contact it says you have a very specific skill set that allows you to kind of embrace that sounds like beginning of a taken situation a very specific set of skills but no i mean i’m here for i’m here for contact i’m here for all this i mean a lot of dns that i grew up watching i thought they were they were finesse players um you know they they always relied on their first couple steps to speed or whatever um i always looked up to you know guys like javon curse was like one of my first jerseys that i had i looked up to chris doleman who used his phenomenal length at times i remember you know even looking at uh you talk about dwight freeny too even even our class von miller i mean these like these are guys that rely on the speed i’m here for you know mike strahan later on his career where you got that combination of experienced wisdom and we’re here for these hands i bring hands to work every day and i’m here to bless somebody with them and what do you what works for you in terms of that approach i mean you find that it can be sometimes more efficient just to work off leverage than it is to do a tasmanian double spin remover i believe dan campbell uh now the head coach over the detroit lion said we’re gonna have some guys run through somebody’s face and i feel like marshawn lynch probably reiterated that talking about hit him in the face and again and again and again eventually they’re not going to like it to quote two two amazing people i don’t know what to say them you
