[Music] yo what’s up kenny cones just back with another one hello viewers before we deal with the trending news we have to deal with negative news that’s happening around the world and we have to deal with the fallen conrads my military veterans my military comrades that lost their life in the kabul airport bombing along with afghan nationals 13 u.s service members died in that attack and we want to give them proper respects so please know mogs in the chat and respect what this is about and we salute them for their service and they’ll never be forgotten check this out so [Music] [Music] do [Music] [Music] do [Music] [Music] we think and salute our veterans a hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself and these service members will never be forgotten now one u.s military officer decided to put his disagreements with what’s going on in afghanistan on social media and if you know like i know military leaders can’t do that so he was relieved of his duty let’s see what he said that got him relieved of his duty okay check this out good evening my name is lieutenant colonel stu sheller united states marine corps and the current battalion commander for advanced infantry training battalion i’ve been in the marine infantry for 17 years started my tour with victor 1 8 it’s the current unit that’s doing perimeter security dealing with the mess that’s going on there i you can see open source reporting that there was an explosion and some people were killed i know through my inside channels that one of those people that were killed was a someone that i have a personal relationship with won’t go into more details because the families are still being notified not making this video because uh it’s you know potentially an emotional time making it because i have a growing discontent and contempt for my perceived ineptitude at the foreign policy level and i want to specifically ask some questions to some of my senior leaders and i’ll say as a person that’s not in 20 years i feel like i have a lot to lose if you play chess you can only see two to three moves out because there’s too many variables i thought through if i post this video what might happen to me especially if the video picks up traction if i have the courage to post it but i think what you believe in can only be defined by what you want to risk so if i’m willing to risk my current battalion commander’s seat my retirement my family’s stability to say some of the things that i want to say i think it gives me some moral high ground to demand the same honesty integrity accountability for my senior leaders and so i want to start with we’ll just use the marine corps might we’ll just stick with the marine corps so in the current fallout of afghanistan a lot of marines were posted on social media and in response to that the commandant published a letter which is the service chief of the marine corps and i want to read from it it was dated 18 august so only a week ago and commented surya wrote some of you may be struggling with a simple question was it all worth it we want you to know that your service is meaningful powerful and important you fought for the marine to your left and right to your right you never let them down and then you go on to say that you know we’re struggling we should we should seek counseling which you know i get it people have killed people um i’ve killed people and i see counseling and that’s fine there’s a time and place for that but the reason people are so upset on social media right now is not because the marine on the battlefield let someone down that service members always rose to the occasion done extraordinary things people are upset because their senior leaders let them down and none of them are raising their hands and accepting accountability or saying we messed this up if an o5 battalion commander has uh the simplest live fire incident eo complaint boom fire but we have a secretary of defense that testified in congress in may that the afghan national security force could withstand the taliban advance we have chairmans of joint chief who the commandant is a member of that who’s supposed to advise on military policy we have a marine combatant commander all of these people are supposed to advise and i’m not saying we’ve got to be in the in afghanistan forever but i am saying did any of you throw your rank on the table and say hey it’s a bad idea to evacuate bagram airfield the strategic air barriers before we evacuate everyone did anyone do that and when you didn’t think to do that did anyone raise their hand and say we completely messed this up i’ve got battalion commander friends right now that are posted similar things and they’re saying you know wondering if all the lives were lost and if it was in vain all those all those people that we’ve lost over the last 20 years and he goes on to say that we’re all part of the chain while every link may not be tested the strength of the chain is only as strong as each lincoln and you got to be you know good like something like that and what i’ll say is and from my position potentially all those people did die in vain if we don’t have senior leaders that own up and raise their hand and say we did not do this well in the end [Music] without that we just keep repeating the same mistakes this amalgamation of the economic slash corporate slash political slash higher military ranks are not holding up their end of the bargain i want to say this very strongly i have been fighting for 17 years i am willing to throw it all away to say to my senior leaders i demand accountability now this military officer was brave in what he was doing and he lost his career over it but i can say that i can kind of agree with his sentiments and now the pentagon is believing that there will be another terrorist attack in kabul at the airport in about 24 to 48 hours now how do we not see this coming check this out with the clock ticking down to the august 31st withdrawal deadline a new threat has emerged in afghanistan putting the entire evacuation process at risk the united states uk and australia have issued a flurry of near identical warnings urging people to clear from kabul’s airport immediately do not travel to hamad karzai international airport and if you’re in the area of the airport move to a safe location and await further advice there is an ongoing and very high threat of terrorist attack while no more details were provided on the security alert nato intelligence points towards a threat posed by long-time taliban enemies the islamic state group taliban officials have since promised to provide security for the thousands of hopeful evacuees still gathered at the airport but despite the danger the group says western forces should stick to their agreement and complete the evacuation by the month’s end for its part the united states has remained firm on its commitment to getting people to safety alright ladies and gentlemen we have a severe weather alert and this weather alert is for the united states and we’re talking about a hurricane and they’re calling this hurricane hurricane item and this hurricane ida is suspected to reach a category 4 when it makes landfall which is like 130 miles per hour it wins now that’s definitely going to cause some devastating effects check this out in new orleans the message from city leaders is clear this is the time to take action as ida approaches the gulf of mexico people across the gulf coast are scrambling to get ready i just left sam’s to buy some water and we’re going to look at a generator the storm expected to strengthen into a major hurricane in the next day or so before making landfall sunday which happens to be the 16th surge along the louisiana coast and some areas could get 20 inches of rain winds at landfall could be in excess of 120 miles per hour all eyes will be on the levees and pumps which keep new orleans dry in iberia parish west of new orleans they’re expecting the worst it’s it’s and it’s not a question of if it’s going to hit you and wipe out everything you got is when you know it’s just a it’s a it’s like gambling in the casino while some plan to head to higher ground others are clearing out catch basins and shopping for supplies hoping to ride it out a lot of water part of stuff that they don’t have to cook you know being seeing that a lot of people go into electrical four powerful storms battered louisiana last year now ida is on its way chris pallone nbc news now we’re going to go over this counterfeit situation with china and right now there’s an ongoing counterfeit investigation that customs gathered up fake covet 19 vaccine cards that were being sold from china to u.s citizens check this out [Music] [Music] so [Music] now we’re going to move on to some more positive things and we’re going to talk about sports updates now i know you all saw monty pacquiao just fight and lose but now he’s talking about a january rematch with that welterweight champion your dennis uggas now i think that monty pacquiao should retire i don’t know what you all think it’s totally up to him if he wants to fight again but i suggest that he retire now we’re going to talk about the guinness world records and there’s another fighter that wants to do something in the guinness world records and that’s none other than the ufc fighter conor mcgregor from ireland now what does he want to do to get his name in the guinness world record books well he wants to take his lamborghini yacht and be the fastest to lap around ireland so we’ll see what happens with that all right now let’s get on to health news now health news is definitely something that is a surprise to me and it’s only a surprise to me because i personally don’t drink it but that’s coffee and they say that coffee may reduce the risk of of death from stroke and heart disease that’s good news for you all to drink
