who's really right yeah now this is a good one and i'm gonna tell you i gotta be i gotta be honest with what you feel good fam steph has been doing an amazing job for months now on doing all of these topics and i just get them look at them and say oh yeah that's good and if there's a lot of them i say all right let's take this out let's keep it down but yeah you have been nailing it with the topics and with the who's really rights and i think this one um is appropriate especially given that trevor lawrence was just named the starting quarterback of the jacksonville jaguars right and so i who's really right for this week is is urban meyer success at the collegiate level going to translate to the nfl and as mostly step let us know what you think um so i watched their um game against the new orleans saints oh yes um this past weekend i think it was and um right away i don't know why like the thought that came to my head was nick saban um because we know nick saban clearly had success at the collegiate level prior to going to alabama right um but that did not probably going to win before right well but even he had to have had success at the collegiate level to even get i look at it as like the blemish yeah for him um him or we can even talk about um jim harbaugh oh yes okay because he went from success at the collegiate level to being drug at san francisco so he took his tail and went back well no no no he had some he had some nice successful seasons at in in san francisco and i think he was actually he's actually he was actually more successful with the niners than he has been with michigan because well you remember i will agree he he went to the super bowl with kaepernick his quarterback and they were one some people say one pass in the first lane yeah from from winning the super bowl and so yeah um you know i i think when we talk about coaches nick saban is probably the most we think about right when we when we talk about uh like college coaches who just didn't do well at the next level but are great college coaches bobby petrino um but he didn't have enough success in college now he was a good coach don't get me wrong he didn't have enough success in college i would say for to to be mentioned with nick saban and urban meyer now urban meyer has won everywhere he's gone yeah i mean i'm sorry i just took over no no you're fine but i guess my point being i just i don't see it i don't see the i don't see the i don't know it's something you see you know that in a head coach for a professional football team yeah that i just don't i i can't put my i can't put into words what it is that i sense but i don't sense that he has that he has that quite what it's going to take to be at that level because the one thing that i do know like why nick saban didn't do well and why i'm concerned about him is they are he's better than nick i'll say that but they are definitely coaches who um have a slight bit of arrogance about them and that's why you don't do well because this was bobby i know we're not comparing him to this but this was the the thing that the knock for bobby petrino was you thought you were going to be able to come in here and treat these grown men and this is their job right the way that you did these kids who were on scholarship yeah two totally different dynamics and and so i don't know if i don't i just i i'ma just say it's my gut feeling and i'm gonna leave it at that this is not going to go well and the situation that you're in even the reason that i think jim harbaugh did well was because it was san francisco you did have colin kaepernick it was a better situation you had i think singletary was on your staff like you had you had some pieces this this right here is a whole hot mess in jacksonville people the players are disgruntled people that work in the organization are disgruntled it it is just not and then they're like trash they've been tr like what did i what was one of the stats they said is it like they've been in the top five picks in the draft for 13 of the last 14 years or something crazy like that oh wow so trash 2017 was an anomaly so okay so what else that's just my good feeling in the in the circumstances so one of the things that i i feel like there are only a very few head coaches in the nfl who we can look at and say they are humble right like we think about somebody like a tony dungy you know what i'm saying like very gracious very humble and you can see it when he talks maybe you're chuck pagano right i thought you were about to say chucky like no okay no well of course not but no so you we think about like some of those coaches and just the arrogance that they display and some of it feels tactful some of it feels not so like and you just mentioned one of the ones who it just doesn't feel tactful at all um with chucky with john glenn yeah and so um i i think that that's kind of a thing with coaches right especially when you make it to the pinnacle of your career and i think that a lot of them do carry a chip on their shoulders but when you have the kind of the resume that someone like urban meyer has um where he as a head coach at least everywhere he's gone he's been a winner everywhere whether that be when he first started with bowling green and they got off they went from being i want to say they were they hadn't won a game the year before and in 2001 oh no 2002 excuse me they started the season 8-0 and was number 16 in the rankings then you go to 2003 where he goes to utah and and is almost up for a national championship at utah right then goes to florida florida and continues on that sec legacy winning multiple national championships at florida with tim tebow yeah right then did he leave he left coaching for a while right or a year he left coach and he went to ohio and then he went to ohio state which ohio state being his dream job understandably he goes to ohio state goes to ohio state and wins the national championship and so you know i i think we can kind of compare that to i think nick saban was a little earlier in his journey yeah of coaching to be fair yes he was um and i think that urban meyer has he he's he's tapped in the players in the way that a lot of these coaches aren't i hope so um you can look at nick saban and look at the way that he talks and see him in those kind of all-access areas and see that he is a college coach he is there like there's a certain type of personality that it takes to lead these young men into becoming they college coaches yes they are college coaches to their core urban meyer i believe can can coach in any environment okay you know and so i think that i think that he'll be successful now he may not see success this year because what they did was they they lined up travis etn right next to trevor lawrence and put a little dash in the middle and it says 1 and 16 which is what they were saying their record is going to be right and so now is out yeah this frank injury um so prayers up for him you know speedy recovery because i i when i first heard that he had a foot injury i said i pray is not a liz frank and that's exactly what it was that's exactly what it is yeah um but yeah i i think he i think he'll be able to do it now is he is it gonna happen this year no you you saw that uh preseason game i saw that preseason game baby like that's why i was like oh yeah and it was almost that was probably what some of the body language yeah from him made me wonder like okay is he gonna be okay to handle this like just wondering like because again it's like somebody's somebody's um like wilson it's gonna be because now it's not just him you gotta think trevor lawrence hasn't experienced very much loss either so there's a whole adjustment that's gonna have to happen for the two of them well the three at the end was there too so right for them these players you know these this coaching needs skilled players that are coming in and they've never they what is this how does this look what you know i know i look i think about the adjustment luckily he had ronnie white but the adjustment julio jones had to make coming to the falcons yeah after being at alabama yeah but but you saw what happened yeah i mean it worked but then you got your boy too i don't know he making it i don't know that he's making that adjustment so well oh no well so well no they got trevor lawrence and in trouble well not sure is it miami though all right yeah he's not making the adjustment because he again he's not he's not making the adjustment and i think that i think that the issue was and in this what i believe about a lot of alabama quarterbacks going all the way back to great mcelroy and some of those other like quarterbacks who just saw so much success when you're playing with the top receivers and the top offensive line every year we're not getting the true depiction of what you are as a quarterback right and so you know i i think that and trevor lawrence saw a little bit of that too but i think that trevor lawrence is legit you know and i know this has nothing to do with this i think just justin feels is going to prove that he was the best quarterback in this draft i see it in his eyes i watched his all-access thing on espn the other day i see he he's going to the best quarterback in this draft and he has that chip on his shoulder i'm mad i hope he does listen do you right trey lance i want to see them all do well yeah yeah um but i know i so to go back to our our you know who's really right because you know we'll we'll go off well i'll go off on the tangent no right me yeah but i i think i think when the ownership and the the management decided to bring in urban meyer they knew that this was going to be something for the long haul and not a quick fix and so they did the first piece they got the was perceived to be the best quarterback in the draft and so now they got to build around him yes and i think urban meyer i think urban meyer is up for this task okay we'll see yeah you know my first thing was his first questionable thing for me was the whole brain tim tebow into tight end thing like wait you all right you okay over there you sure it's you you okay so we'll see there's a whole lot of feelings that i have about that and about certain privileges that certain people share that you know and i won't go deep into it but what i will say is i believe that he probably brought tim tebow in to be a locker room guy because as and and coaches do this all the time coaches bring in other coaches who they understand okay this is this is going to be someone i need in order to you know what i'm saying like to to implement what i want to do right and so i i think that man there's a coach there yeah i would have thought that would have been like bring him in as an offensive advisor to somebody anything but a tidy like really but okay yeah so anyway y'all let us know who's really right cause i'm just saying yes yeah and if you think that urban meyer is going to flame out in the nfl you agree with stephanie and if you think that oh gosh if you think that he may enjoy some success then you agree with me and let us know let us know who's really right listen we're gonna get we gonna get these who's really right posted i promise i like i'm i'm i'm morning now i know i know i'm getting better y'all i am getting better a little bit a little a tiny bit i'll be trying not that's like i'm going to stay off the planet put the cameras on me put the cameras on me put the cameras on me put the cameras on me put the cameras on me put the cameras on me put the cameras on me
rn
<img class="wp-image-1776"
