Google Pixel 6 Pro – Yes, About time!

Google Pixel 6 Pro – Yes, About time!

One of the complaints people have with thenPixel 5 is how slowly it charges, capping out at 18W. Even the Galaxy S21 and iPhone 12 charge faster, nand they already feel slow, especially when compared to something as blisteringly fastnas the OnePlus 9 Pro. While 18W is not too slow, it’s lagging farnbehind other handsets on the market right now. But Google has finally and the Rock says…ndecided to up its game with the Pixel 6. According to 91Mobiles, both the Pixel 6 andn6 Pro will have 33W of fast wired charging capabilities. This is a significant improvement comparednto Pixel 5’s 18W charging. But there’s a little catch here. You see a couple of days ago Google has officiallynannounced that the Pixel 6 will not come with a bundled wired charger. Google believes that most people already havenat least one USB-C charger so “there’s no longer a need to include one” with its phonesnwhich is…The actual reason is, Google likely is not going to pass down thensavings of not including the charger to consumers. And people who are willing to spend aroundn$1000 on the Pixel 6 are more likely to spend another $50 to get this 33W charger. So yes, it’s a great move from the businessnstandpoint but absolutely sucks from the standpoint of consumers. Anyway, wired charging is not the only chargingntech getting an upgrade with the Pixel 6, wireless charging will get an upgrade too. Google will launch a new Pixel stand withnfans built in to keep the pad and the phone cool, which obviously means faster wirelessncharging speeds. Now we don’t know exactly how much the powernoutput is going to be but it will surely be significantly higher than the original PixelnStand which topped out at 10W. With that being said, Google is also workingnon a foldable smartphone. It’s going to be an inward folding phone likenthe Galaxy Z Fold and it will have the same screen size at 7.6″. Additionally, it will feature some Samsungnfoldable exclusives such as Ultra-thin glass. It was being reported that this Pixel foldnor whatever Google will end up calling it will launch alongside the Pixel 6 possiblynon September 30th. Turns out, that will not happen because fornsome reason the handset has been delayed which means it won’t launch with the Pixel 6. It’s possible it even might not launch thisnyear. But it’s not all bad news because the reportnmentions that Google might offer some sneak peek or a preview at this foldable to getnthe media and people talking about its foldable phone. Unfortunately, we don’t have any other informationnabout the Pixel Fold but rest assured I’m going to keep you updated so do consider subscribingnfor that and as always I’ll see you tomorrow…Peace out
