Happy Birthday Tilly, Dolly & George! (Tuesday Museday 121) – Engelbert Humperdinck

hi everyone it’s tuesday news day and it’s around the world and today i’m going to dedicate this tuesday music to uh two very special people okay okay i actually will be three eventually but at the moment i’m going to talk about the two okay and it’s uh it’s been a very special month because two of my sisters have had uh monumental birthdays and uh and i want to i i want to take this the time to introduce them to you because uh i’m going to tell you they are wonderful people my sister tilly and my sister dolly my sister tilly my darling sisters are fantastic they’re fantastic people i’ve i’ve been very close to them all my life and i want to say that um tilly is a as a wonderful person she’s she every time i visit her home which i did this trip this last trip i visited her when i went back to england and i visited her and she always has my drink waiting for me she keeps a bottle full of what i drink especially for me and when i go there she said i’ve got you a drink for you and and i sit and i have a little drink and i toast her and uh i want to tell you something my sister tilly on on august the 19th was 98 years old and i’m going to tell you she does not look that age she looks like 10 10 10 15 years uh younger than that younger than that she really does and uh she’s an amazing lady she lives by herself and which she shouldn’t be but she she does and i i can’t i can’t believe it you know how how great she she looks and and and cares for herself uh that this is to hurt till i love you thank you for it thank you for being my gorgeous sister and uh i’m uh i’m now going to move on to your elder sister okay and my sister dolly was a hundred years old on august the 21st and she received a a card from the queen to say you know to tell her to to congratulate her and and the queen always does that for every 100th birthday and and she’s our queen queen elizabeth and she’s such a lovely lady and um whom i’ve met many times and i have to say uh that it was a great compliment when she sends when she sends send something out it’s the greatest compliment you can ever have you know and my sister dolly had that compliment on the 21st of august you know now dolly’s my darling dolly uh sister has been so uh she was instrumental to my early life because when i when i was struggling at school with my studies she helped me with the writing essays and compositions and and she was the one who taught me how to write poetically and i want to tell you she’s a great writer she really is and my sister doll does not look 100 years old you know she looks amazing at absolutely amazing and have a and her face and uh i maybe they’ll put a picture of my uh on on on the internet and you can see her she looks like my darling sister a doll god bless you darl i love you very much and may god bless you for the rest of your life okay and now i’d like to move on into to the the youngest my youngest grandson who lives in australia his name is george and uh uh it’s scott’s little boy and uh he was 11 years old you know and uh this month and god bless him and uh he’s probably on a lockdown over there because australia has been on a lockdown for a long time but god bless you little boy and have a great birthday okay in the meantime folks i’m sitting here in the studio and i’m working on my show and i’m trying to get it together very quickly because we start work on october the 1st and i’m in i’m in new york to start with and i’m working on some charts and with my arranger david arana and uh and hopefully we’ll get it done pretty soon okay i’m working on it working very hard so until next week stay well god bless you and remember i love you bye you
