are loaded into light shade in the bottom a right hand side of the map it is the wall by mower showtime [Music] opponents in the reds thanks for massports it is here marine biggest gates the largest gate you have ever spawned in this universe and yesterday when he played against max pax on this map here marine went into the three racks so that's one marine reactor he actually mixed in a double reaper behind this little little cutesy move that a lot of players wouldn't expect you can try and get some pro pickups with it and he actually went for concussive shells because these days it's very common to you know open blink and have some stalkers on the map and the goal was really to catch max packs of god out on the map and that actually did happen and i think he killed like two stalkers with it thanks to that and uh yeah after that just was able to be very successful in that game so showtime should be well aware of that and he definitely needs to watch out for it he definitely does he's gonna come with a probe the suv was already ready for this probe or maybe looking to scout himself showtime's gonna leverage the shields and while they regenerate he'll just have a looksie around the main base of hero marine nothing too special we'll check the gas see that there's only one expect a cc on the low ground to be coming down as he drops his own nexus and now maybe look for a pylon as uh clearly the suvs and the gas will tell him that kira marine does want that expansion will be dropped without consequence and the marine first actually yuan okay that's yeah you're supposed to get a marine and then you go into the reactor and then if you see that there is an aggression coming you'll get the bunker but now he hasn't scouted at all so curious whether he's going to drop that at all or even like if he'll do the same build which so far it should be as seeing how little gas is currently mining air marine looks incredible i think with that decision making on the other side showtime's known for his defense so whatever your mind throws at him sometimes supposed to be the one you know to defend really well against it and then get himself in a position where he might be able to do well down the line goes for twilight counsel himself perhaps for blink and that's another play yeah and showtime actually chrono boosting the adept just because he thought there was potential for a reaper as he already has the wall off to block the reaper from jumping up instead just puts the adept in the front and now looking to uh shade but i i don't even know if he'll let this shade finish at this point i guess it's fine as he thinks okay there's definitely not a reaper this is the kind of information that i would look at studying an opponent joan and then maybe if this is the trend that they go for every time then you can go in with two reapers right now and backstab or something like that that'd be kind of cool yeah but here's just maureen's phone let's see if he starts concussive shells here perhaps no it's gonna be steam right off the bat as well as more marines and showtime like whenever or when i was casting a study with roddy he talked about how uh it's important to right like you don't want to go sluggish against this short showtime knowing about this pre-rack's potential did the right thing here in going for blink and supposedly the multiple gateway stalkers to be able to hold on against an upcoming attack that you know is going to be there yeah even a robo and showtime is a player that is very willing to open with an immortal actually we've seen that multiple times from him and with the robo being at the front i think this is a pretty good response if he has a shield battery ready for the eventual attack of big gabe i think he might be a-okay [Music] at the third base is really what you want to try and slow down here's the turn you know that it's always going to be there from the produce and this is by design here to really disrupt taking of the third base here with just having more forces than the produce would be able to hold on against it takes perfect understanding on how to counter this to really be able to stop it right you need to stop making pros maybe now for a little bit just focus on making units and immortals maybe would have been good but also the observer i guess is gonna allow him to spot this a little bit easier even though he started move out now already yeah he knows what's coming and i think he might have to forfeit his third potentially as he doesn't have enough just yet the blink did finish so we'll show off a marauder before much happens and hero marine actually not taking that opportunity to commit on further and into the third so losing that marauder he loses a lot of steam to steam for when he gets so uh you know it's gonna be a little bit more difficult now steam is done but only one marauder remaining those are the key units to take down the stalkers and uh showtime is gonna use this observer this time around defensively now moving it a little bit more aggressively but this was a successful defense yeah he pushed this bike really well and now he can just start drawing probably not a little bit better behind this and you get to choose here if your showtime what exactly you're transitioning to a lot of the time you know it's going to be the robo bed and you're going to colossus but occasionally you'll see a wild high templar transition which is i guess very very rare nowadays oh that is a lot of wow rains here goodness goodness gracious i mean showtime killing another marauder while only putting some damage only one stalker in the yellow he has to be a little bit careful blinks back the injured stalker as he shoves off another marine that make it four now four marines and two marauders have gone down nothing i think has gone down on the side of show time another one and another one yuan yeah it keeps going uh showtime okay i was like where is charge did he forget about this but no finally it starts here he's very stalker heavy right now he did a very good job of reducing this army count on the other side and we have the third cc here on the high ground for humans starting now so i guess the two barracks will follow shortly after this and so far all of these attacks have been defended super well kind of what you would expect out of showtime he's taking good trades mega mega well hiro marine now steaming his whole army it'll net him one stalker let's see if he can get another two actually oh one blinks in the very last moment so kira mourinho with a good turnaround will at least kill a couple of stalkers and put a few others into the red showtime is still adventurous enough to go for another marauder pickup does lose a stalker for his troubles but uh this has been a pretty back and forth as far as the exchanges i think that showtime does take the better the better end of all things when you know when it comes down to it this observer provided a wonderful vision for showtime to actually be able to see an attack in the in the bushes but this is a lot of marauders now yeah i'm surprised there is no uh century for guardian shield by the way um that helps a lot against this kind of army but maybe he wanted to make sure he made a lot of zealots and stalkers instead to fight also very effectively i think we felt charged probably a bad idea yeah as tempting as it is like you know it's very annoying to get distant powered here for a second the cyber corps shouldn't die though yeah because he's careful wait yeah i mean the the immortals might have to flank if this aggression continues but yeah i think you favor those immortals he has two immortals against a lot of marauders like you said a lot of charge lots uh the charge got halted that's six seconds left oh god i think that's why he didn't engage maybe if it had finished he would have engaged but better to just wait for now here all right let's see if hero marine can find any more damage a lot of the stalkers are pre-positioned and waiting for any aggression that goes into the main hero marine already potentially anticipating that showtime could be taking a fourth as he is moving in this area he has two minds that he could also load up to look for some extra harassment or he could just use them to borrow them and kind of bait cellos into mine shots which would be really good showtime already with a colossus with an army well spread however pre-positioned very well oh mine connection not the best the kiting of her marine i think that's the thing that that maybe is the best bat is never over expanding you're never gonna see her marine take a really bad fight he'll always at least be trading kiting his way back and that's what makes it so hard to actually get very cost effective trade against him he actually gets both here the cyber core and the gateway on the high ground yeah i can't help but to think that he was also baiting with the medevacs for a blink forward to try to snipe him as he had two beautiful minds pre-positioned one of them will go off and kill the stalker in the process and hear a marine trying to make things happen on both sides of the map now with a bigger army here at the top but the colossus is going to be troublesome especially for those mines the marauders of course are excellent against the colossus not so much against the celts so both players are trying to spread their resources as best as they can here marine now going for the aggression on two fronts showtime is gonna shoot a move on this side and then just look for the main as that is gonna be the main point of contention right now here marine looking for some or any trade-off showtime already recognizing that the twilight council will fall and drops another one in his face that's super well done by showtime here sniping the medevacs immediately so those units never retreat he makes he remakes the twilight castle in almost the same location i was a little bit questioning you know when that got sniped the first time but oh the observer at the top is going to spot the army perfectly here that changes everything because now you can move in position to defend better like if you hadn't been so far up there then maybe this you know these bios teams in there and starts getting a 10 pro which would be a disaster for a short time but now he's showing yet again why his nickname is the wall yes indeed beautiful vision with those observers throughout the entire game repositioning them defensively offensively it's just seeing what he needs to see great blink forward as well identifying that there's not that many marauders and a lot of the marauders are at the front but hiro marine will take this opportunity to move on forward the disrupter tries to get a shot off but hero marine on top of it the scan will not clip that observer in the very end as it escapes with barely any hp and trades again back and forth nearly maxed out this is what we expect of these players a little bit of a macro game to start us off yeah great pullback i think by uh heromoid as well like he scanned at the top he saw that the recall was happening so he knew that attacking at the bottom would be a really bad idea so it just ends up pulling back and he's going into enough vikings to counter colossa is going enhance shock waves which i mean to really counter everything that the protoss is making with some big emps and on the other side we're getting double upgrade disruptors being added it's the right thing to do and the cheeky dank shrine you love to see it i mean that wordpress unfortunately for showtime was already a little bit weakened and hero marine with great positioning with the vikings readjusting just barely to take it down only two salads will survive but not for long as they get taken down actually might be able to kill a couple of suvs if hero marine doesn't pay attention right away now repositioning the vikings to answer at the same time showtime clears a mind here and there nothing too exciting happening right now but uh but little traits here and there testing each other up to three ghosts now for hero marine let's see if he has many more right now he's just adding a lot of marines and uh murders but maybe just be planning an attack here when he gets maxed out with just the triple ghost to try and land some perfect emps and win a big fight the scariest thing is going to be those disruptors you know and i've talked about how the top players are so good at dodging those shots but it's six disrupters and it's showtime we're talking about so it's gonna be one of those more challenging times here to try and deal with this effectively yeah beautiful prioritizing yet again from the slide of showtime there to kill those medevacs now the observer will get taken down as hero marine actually moves his entire army there to try and deal with that that is a lot of disruptors in ddo one however this map at the third is wide open it's not gonna be pretty easy to land those uh in that location i would almost like to see showtime take a different route here tierra marine will be well aware of what's going on showtime having lost this observer a little bit less vision to make things work and the dunk shrine that you were mentioning finally potentially coming into effect as well yeah that's a lot of dark land plus down there i see all eight of them shadow stride is about to finish he might wait for that to be done and then get on top of this planetary fortress with the blink snipe it at once as he already has plus two attack plus three is halfway through the only i think that's even a nice starting action plot apparently nine nine is the sweet spot you know where you slice down that planetary fortress pretty quick all right let's see if it is hero marine is going to be very quick to react as well one colossus already got taken down earlier before anything happened another one will go down the planetary fortress at the same time is being targeted and it is indeed this time around the sweet spot hero marine not quick enough to react and even if he was i'm not sure that would that would have been enough for a beautiful emp that is more expensive of a force than the planetary fortress itself of course the planetary fortress has the benefit of giving you the ability to mine that base as well so it's not all bad for showtime at the end of the day good emps there and taking down actually one of the disruptors as well good looking forward to protect the colossus this time around from show time and a force field preemptively to account for the for the steam and there was three dt's also sent into the third base at the same time the one in the triangle that also got killed because there is that trademark here marine bunker he was anticipating that kind of feels like he also had some forces over so 12 dark 10 plus actually died not long ago which is very very costly here for showtime he's very stalker heavy which yes it will help against the vikings but if the colossi die regardless he's gonna feel like his supply is just kind of bad it's so reliant on those disruptors connecting it just like in those fights and he's actually looking forward to this shot oh my god here marie not paying attention for one second he's gonna pay the price here yeah beautiful moves from showtime who also has a huge economic lead by the way he is taking more bases than hiro marines so you know hero marine has to look for a crushing engagement and after the start to that fight that's going to be very difficult to fight to find now disruptors on offense against serge we were talking are not so great against tehran if you get in position and they're already been pinned like this it's a lot more difficult to engage into this protos uh contain i guess of swords as he's going to be pushing on forward the bunker is empty for the time being but the liberators are going to be disturbing to that kind of grants some safety to hear a marine yeah advanced ballistics finally completed where up to six liberators which are definitely doing a good job zoning this army out showtime has always been one of the best producers out there though against liberators like never really overstepping inside of those liberation zones always being very patient methodical going around and that observer in the center of the map is spotting the army perfectly again you can start reacting or deciding how it's going to go about eventually engaging into this and on the other side we're just waiting for personal cloaking to finish and also the first preamble upgrades oh big bling forward this time around more dts to account for the fact that hiro marine might be ready for it hero marine has to reposition i would love to see showtime just go back with those deities and look at that knowing that the deities are gonna be threatened by the army he pushes into the liberators uh the dts are still going into the natural i'm not sure how much i like that but at the same time showtime uses that opportunity to stitch this base yet again and this is looking wonderful for showtime yeah he's doing so much damage the planetary fortress is going to go down here on the third base hero marine he barely has an income left he just lost 29 suvs he's trying to get on top of this protest army to kill it but the nova is not gonna maybe cover the retreat he's gonna tap out as he plummets in supply showtime it was a slow start and he was only defending for the most part in the early game but once he started being aggressive with those dark templars he never really let off the gas pedal yeah beautiful moves and i love as well that the first time that he used the dark templars then he moves into the natural doesn't find a good trade they all get taken down the second time he does the same thing but with full vision of the army of hero marine and so he's able to capitalize on two different locations from hiro marine wanting to punish those dark templar right here a marine pulls back showtime goes in for the liberator hiro marine hesitates gathers his liberators then still pulls back to deal with the counter aggression and that's when showtime pause pounces onto onto the triangle third and it basically ends the game taking two bases at once beautiful moves from showtime and that was hero marine's pick by the way slight shade map so very unfortunate now showtime's inquest but man i was going to pick showtime and then you picked him and i was like oh no now you care about the predictions you're on i feel like you're picking hero marine if he loses is the right thing for you at this point right like you and i both are going for the underdog maybe big gabe is not as big as he needs to be for for thy malware he might become let's wait and see here i mean like you said that light shade can be a pretty comfortable map for tehran especially a taran that is willing to go very heavy into the bio mainly because it's such a wide open map romanticide instead is one of the best defensive maps it is a map with a lot of chokes it is a map where three base is incredibly easy to take i think that if hero marine is gonna have an opportunity on this map it's gonna be later down the line maybe to contest the forward fourth but we'll see what happens we are all loaded into the game and in the bottom right hand side of the map the blue protoss player for berlin international gaming it is showtime his opponents the north west in the reds playing for team mousesports the biggest of gabe's pure marine i am so bad at directions man i can i never there to say you know north south east west like right right and left already confused me enough yuan you need some tricks you ever see that video of like there's this girl she can remember like almost any amount of number like just under the mouse and she used like a trick basically that tells a story that helps her remember the numbers so yeah when i think about west i always think like you know america so like west of europe if i think about east i'll think about asia and that's how it tells me like you know left right whatever i see i see very very cool um yeah i know where the i know the ocean the pacific ocean is to the west of things so that's usually the guideline that i use but i'm still you know not very very great scouts by showtime look at this scouted pretty early sees that there is the double gas taken sees the the saturation on it and now he might check these corners here oh my god i think he's going to find it immediately here that barracks yeah did he see the stbs while moving i mean showtime with great confidence to drop his nexus in the face of danger there could have been potentially something like proxy marauders or something weird like that but kind of knowing big gabe well enough i guess and with the scout early enough to give him a little bit more confidence we'll find the barracks like you said it's of course mostly a mind game or an attempt at a mind game from hero marine that will not so much backfire because there's very little downside he will now have to blow the barracks and that is the very little downside but uh but yeah good job by showtime and perhaps you know when was telling the truth yesterday when he said that you know he wasn't going to use his real bills because when he played against max pax on this map uh he actually went for an ebay block and then just kind of opened like you know quickly into star port with a command center inside of the main base so now i guess the main difference is that he kind of tried to fake that he was going to go heavy on the aggression which showtime didn't fall for at all perfectly read that and he's also reading the follow-up perfectly oh my god showtime going for this target against the star part here he knows that there is most likely going to be a widowman drop and it's all going to be about that defense with the phoenixes i mean i'm assuming it's going to be phoenixes yeah i think it has to be phoenix's it's yeah this is very good reads from showtime playing the map as well this map is a map that's very good for widow mines there is airspace leading into the natural and the third base also you know there's airspace like where the widowmines can go into the third or the main very easily and change course as they need be and like we mentioned before it is such a defensive map the ramps are excellent the shield batteries can be used for coverage for both the main and the third as well in neutral locations so lesli and you have to go up a ramp as well in order to attack both of those bases so it's yeah it's a lot more difficult to pull off three uh barracks type aggression as we saw in the previous game from hero marine he identifies that but showtime is ready that reaper trying to get a scout but not able to make it all the way back inside of the main base he's tall enough you know seeing the stargate here that's all you need to know if you're here marine to know like uh when and where you want to be aggressive with this midivac if at all you might wait for an empty timing but yeah there is going to be a follow-up scout he could have just waited a while maybe hope that the phoenixes were going to be out of position eventually oh that's a kill that's a great start here for hearing to be able to get these phoenix out of there yeah those phoenix are very expensive and that's why you all know that's why you saw those the first phoenix it was being paid attention to by showtime he was actively readjusting his clicks forward so he wasn't just sending it and then checking it once in a while he was making sure that there wasn't widow mines as he was going into the main of big gabe unfortunately on the retreat lets his guard down and the next phoenix also runs into a widow mine like you said that's pretty good for the for the big game we're getting the ebay as well here behind this gabe is so consistent with stv production we're also talking about this yesterday with roddy like he's one of those guys that will never miss a beat where if you're his opponent and you you are the one that cuts like worker production even for any incident you're gonna start falling behind very quickly so showtime luckily for him is one of the better macro guys out there you know that will keep on explaining like last game like his micro was incredible he was going up to five bases as quick as he needed to and just found enough damage to the aggression i wonder if that's the overall game plan of his right to eventually go into double forge get those 10 dt's with blink and say okay i'm just going to snipe your pf and you're going to be too far behind economically to be able to come back yeah fantastic tactics from showtime once we got into that late game he felt he felt so comfortable it looked like he was making amazing moves great vision with the observers to inform him of the right moves to make and he seized a lot of those opportunities to give him that win so we'll see if he's able to do that again as hero marina moving out with a somewhat sizable force only one medevac here for the moment is there a second one on the way not really so that means that the full uh group of units cannot evacuate but that was me get pounced on i was amazed by the observer that's the first time that has happened the observer gets across the map and i think showtime's not going to be in position here to fight this immediately when that when it hits his base down there yeah the scan will give him a hand yeah so uh yeah that's kind of a double-edged sword from tehran to scan forward and show time with the scan will be able to reposition his army so that ends up backfiring for hero marine as he wastes well so quote-unquote wastes a little bit of money and uh and you know doesn't have the perfect position that he would have otherwise in exchange for a little bit of safety not gonna pan out this time around that wouldn't mind getting a good connection however the one phoenix will prevent one of the widowmines the second one will help with the second widow mine as well a lot of sellouts but the adepts are not contributing at the moment so showtime has to kind of relocate those the depth or those hellos back and maybe send them to the shield battery to heal for a little bit or something but he really has no catch aside from those two phoenix so he has to be pretty careful a beautiful caving by hero marine this is what i was talking about before right like if you just stand there and not fight as effectively as you can you would fall like really far behind that'd get cleaned up easily but the fact that he kited this well he reduced the zealot count and really got some decent trades here in this last fight but now it's colossus he's gonna have to worry about as showtime is still producing phoenix's here he really wants to build up that phoenix count a little more he's up to three right now with the fourth one about to come out and he's gonna drop down a double forge while going for blink yeah also dropping some widow or using some water mines on the low ground there in case there is enough phoenix to chase the medevacs back there is not gonna be but gabe is standing the trap all the same so well done by him we'll see if showtime falls for it as he does have those for phoenix and big game i mean that's a little bit too obvious to have right just yeah yeah like the medevacs are fully loaded they're just waiting and sometimes like wait a minute something's off here he's like oh no i'm making such a big mistake yeah he's like i'm gonna continue to make this mistake for a little while it'd be a shame if you phoenix's flew in and killed everything i'm a little too smart to fall for this yeah and the beautiful pylons as well from showtime to spot that that medevac that was potentially gonna look to drop some widow mines that will allow him to reposition his phoenix's accordingly while he has his army in a neutral position to answer the army of big gabe wherever it should come from yeah here marine should be looking to keep on upgrading last game actually he's all more upgrades infantry armor was a little delayed but other than that he was still pretty steady he got that plus two attack very quickly and kept up with his upgrades really well and showtime going for the double forge by the way that's something that i feel like i've been seeing less and less like a lot of players they rely on one for a long time as we have an engagement on the other side great pickups on the widowmaks again showtime is just so good defensively and he never overextends like now it would be so tempting to actually chase this army all the way but that's the thing it's faster than him and probably wouldn't be very good because then he'd be out of position to defend on the other side as he comes back with the phoenix list for another magnificent cleanup here magnificent is the word that i will get behind a hundred percent i mean just beautiful with the canon so he is confident enough to send his phoenix to the other side of the map and then he's ready because big gabe thinks okay your phoenix's are here then they're not at your natural base i'm gonna go drop there but showtime's like yeah but i have a cannon there and i'm actually gonna be paying attention because i am that good the dark shrine it's their cats is getting ready again for some of those dts i mean we have some turrets in the main in the natural but not in the third base if you can synchronize some dark templars reaching those mineral lines at the same time there's going to be some kill big kill potential on this suvs as humans setting up a two-pronged attack at the bottom and top sides i think the split of showtimes looks good enough to defend against this yeah showtime did a wonderful job of that last game i love also his composition and his unit choices throughout this game he knows that the fourth is a little bit wide open so he has really committed heavily into sellouts which are gonna do pretty well in the open however johan i think that uh big gabe is gonna be trying to take an opportunity here soon otherwise he has to expand really soon i feel like he's falling a little bit behind in that regard and uh seeing us how last game went it's a little bit concerning i'm so amazed by showtime's defense whatever you throw at this guy he just has great splits beats the game really well unless you're gonna kill his observers it's so hard to actually like ever surprise him so good in anticipating anything like those phoenix's actually pretty genius on this map where you have like a lot of dead space right on the right hand side and at the bottom for the tan to go around with the medivac to try and like sneak in a drop and shadow strikes fast again so that seems to be like you know a thing that he wants to achieve a lot of the time here where he'll get that when it's close to finishing he'll warp in a lot of dts and start sniping bases yes indeed good force fields here but uh disraptor unable to connect unfortunately as big gate close enough to snipe it down showtime still with a very good defense so far like you were mentioning this the observer was taken down on the left-hand side of the map or shall i say the wet the west the southwest got him that is amazing everyone gets the big uh bass knife actually in the top right and so he picks up it gets spotted by hallucination he is he's still going to go for it now i mean when he sees that he's getting that that would be a really bad idea those phoenix's oh my god yeah i mean showtime could have definitely reacted a little bit faster perhaps to punish this but still he might be able to punish it now hero marine has to look for an opening elsewhere because this phoenixes and this army of showtime could potentially chase unfortunately not enough deem said showtime and now hero marine actually with a little bit of a medium-sized doom drop a baby doom drop into the natural base of show time canon is not going to cut it the disruptor however will force a pickup and now the phoenix for the cleanup but the second disraptor actually coming in hot the phoenix's are gonna kind of cover the retreat but big game goes forward instead showtime a little bit split open here as hero marine finds some openings that's looking pretty good for hiro marine the phoenix is still look like it's gonna be enough with just a little bit of army to support him in the main and showtime will defend but not at no cost this time around it's starting to struggle a little more here with the splits compared to before i just saw a bunch of dt's being walked in where is that oh that was actually inside of the main base you have to try and defend against the drop last one one of his forges kind of needs to replace that he wants to be still going for the double upgrade but gabe finding some damage in there but supplies are still even and those dark templars they need to get ready on the other side of the map i'm afraid that if they're down there and they get scanned and killed that's gonna be an absolute disaster here for showtime yeah and there's cnp as well available so scan not even necessary showtime is kind of trying to get out of his own base with the dark templars let's see if the rest of the army is gonna contribute something those adept have felt mostly useless throughout the entirety of the game i would have seen them i would have liked to see them sacrificed at some point for some sort of counter offense the dts are just hiding where they can hide um i do wonder in this matchup young how do you feel about mining or not mining the minerals that lead to the purple gas base i think you could probably do it but then like you open new avenue for like the terrain to attack into you and like do multi-pronged attacks so i think it's okay also like to not do it because he expanded towards the other way anyway so now you have like only one main avenue at the bottom to worry about but now is the time where last game showtime completely broke your marine with the main army engaging on one side and the dt's on the other now they're gonna get spotted by turret let's see how quickly rex there is not that trademark heroin bunker on the third base but there is some libs yeah very smartly showtime going after the suvs and the turret instead of trying to aim for a cc that's obviously gonna be lifted off in time so what gets successful for his troubles from the first poke of those uh dark templars the problem of this map compared to the other map is that the planetary fortress is in such a location that it's forward enough that it's kind of where hero marine wants his forces anyway so uh he's gonna have to punish with those dts if and only if big game moves out but actually this is a wonderful catch from showtime he's gonna need him some extra units the dts will be emptied lincoln cooldown will not be able to save too many of those and let's see if it's going to be he's up to 10 ghosts here he has so many vikings to do the colossal he pulls back with the ground army here to let those guys deal with the colossus yeah he's not really shooting i don't know where he's chasing here oh that was not the play as one of the the purification novas that lands dead straight into showtime's own army and i'm getting really excited for this game yeah i mean yeah you don't you don't see purification noah's killing your own army that often especially from a player like showtime the pressure might just be getting to him joanna's hero marine is now gonna push on forward pretty much max showtime's still not quite maxed 20 supply he is trailing and doesn't have too many tech units of course the the disruptors are going to be pretty useful defensively but i'm not sure i'm not sure this is looking pretty good for big gabe yeah cheap weapons level 2 is a big upgrade that gabe is about to get but they're both 3-2 otherwise but the plus 3 armor is on the way now for showtime already so if you can get that thing ahead by this one it would be very nice disruptor is getting caught a little bit here german doing a good job not getting i guess detonated into but those dt's on the left-hand side oh my goodness this pf man how quickly is he gonna die oh yeah this game is getting really tense as showtime is looking for that double whammy yet again he's gonna go for two bases at once that blink was unnecessary he just blinked into the blink but it's gonna work out on the other end of things a lot of liberators here to push the army back big gabe can go for this base and then maybe on the retreat he could look for the engagement if he continues to chase that army of showtime from behind but he's not gonna so now it's the army of showtime that i think might have an edge against this army of hero marine so it's looking like hero marine will look to retreat instead we'll use a steam in the process yes look at the supply 126th army for hero marine against 64 for showtime but there is not really any vikings here with this army he needs to rejoin them okay liberator is coming he's going to try and protect his army here i finally zoned out this army of showtime whose long distance mining from the six o'clock base showtime's economy is in shambles yeah really you're a marine i mean yeah marine is down to three bases himself but showtime was hoping to take the third base as well so that he would be reset down to two not having done so i mean showtime is gonna have to relocate to the top right hand side of the map and uh look for another kill onto this long distance mining base that is inexistent from hero marine this might proc show time to move on and up the ramp but there is a lot of forces from big gabe here so it's not gonna be easy for sure gonna need some purification novas and big gabe actually looking to potentially collapse onto this army and closing the space and the gaps here with the liberators there's so many probes in the top right hand side might as well start long distance mining himself for sure here as both players look to re-establish those bases that they've lost iron man being very conservative you see he's just staying on the three for now not quite playing his main orbital i feel like a lot of players would have done that already by now he's just happy to be defending on his side of the map probably realizing he's got just way more army 149 army against 68 yeah and it looks like showtime might be able to get this dc instead goes after the army that's not gonna be possible the vikings are going after the colossus the stalkers actually kind of abandoning them and here is the big collapse a big game this might be the final fight as showtime is forced to tap out fully surrounded big gabe will equalize how's the uh the sandwich here if i've ever seen one coming in from both sides showtime all smiles after the game taking it pretty well looks like unless he's somewhat losing his sanity a little bit over this game that was very competitive but here marin showing a great improvement after game number one where he struggled against that style and after the initial defenses he still was resilient and started finding good damage with all of his multi-pronged attacks yeah and did very well done by big gabe to recover i mean showtime had a very good initial defense but faltered a little bit later and then when you land at nova onto your own army and it was a good chunk of army then that just feels good and he never felt it never felt like he recovered from that yeah i think showtime like just it doesn't need to do anything fancy like you should just keep uh doing the same but slightly better execution just don't take damage like when you started taking it and you know obviously it's the easier state than done i was always one of those guys that really struggled against multi-pronged attack because like you need to split perfectly and also it's so easy to lose patience right because human uh the terran is attacking you from both sides and you really want to chase when he finally engages into you right but if you chase then you get kited and you lose everything so showtime actually did a very good job not overextending but hero marine was still so relentless that he eventually started killing a few probes here and there and that attack in the main base where he finally landed the drop and he killed one of the forge that's the big deal as well because then that delayed all of the upgrades uh of his opponent and the initial defense this time against the deities was very good because they were spotted like these guys were the most busted duties i've ever seen like he literally scanned and saw tennessee's there and these guys were like whispering to each other like they cannot they can't see you and they know where you will go next as well yeah absolutely and again like on that map you can have the army consolidated on the on the front for that pf so the dt's looked for a different angle but only found six suvs on their first strike so not enough for showtime to recover however this is gonna be a different game and spawning in the north east of the map it is biggs showtime and speaking of big they don't really get any any bigger than this one in the reds from germany as well it's here marine german classical not disappointing so far you want two action-packed games very close both of them very methodical could have gone either way and now we are on the third map it's 2000 atmospheres and also pretty cool that they took each other's maps yeah yeah it feels like it's just a very close turn of war where the first player to make even the slightest mistake will start on falling behind and after that it's just so hard to recover because they're both so incredibly solid completely agreed there is going to be another probe scout this time around hero marine not playing any mind games with the barracks location however showtime will be aware of the gas count will be aware that big gay probably wants to take his low ground cc we'll see if he opts for the pylon this time around last time he was just content delaying with the probe so that might be the case this time around as well two suv is already pulled to the low ground showtime taking a little bit too much damage on the probe on that turnaround and he's just gonna back away yeah he usually does that here where he blocks the the cc for a little bit on the other side for humoring this looks like it might be one of his three barracks opener with the reactor will be interesting to see whether he goes into any sort of reapers which usually is a kind of rare occurrence i don't want to do that very often yeah and it's not a bad map for three racks i think that showtime is not unlikely to go for phoenix on a map as large as this one also uh there is a flat surface area leading to the natural base and the third base so no ramps this time around showtime will drop a stargate and so opening wise i kind of like it for a big game right now yeah it's going oh factory yeah going for the factory here and adding the second gas you know there's always a lot of guessing games from very minimal scouting like i mean in the case of hero marine he's not scouting periods no stv no reaper nothing so he's just fully guessing the whole way and sometimes that evolves also what the opponent has seen like he knows that what was scouted was like a reactor in the cc on the low ground so he has to kind of try and anticipate what showtime's going to be thinking from that and then he reacts to it himself in this case with a star port i mean we saw it's not the end of the world for either side right like you can go star wars but as long as you realize that there is a stargate you don't have to play overly aggressive because then the opponent will be ready defensively yeah it's probably gonna be a three-helion drop and like you said showtime should be ready defensively for this a few marines will poke and just show away this at depth but uh but yeah i mean three racks and to go back to that downside would have been how large the map is to cross and actually make your timing work upsides we already talked about so i wouldn't have minded it because it would have played well and it would have stacked well with a potential phoenix opener from showtime and that is very likely on a map like this instead he opened oracle actually and hasn't made any additional units big mixing in a mine as well to potentially aid with a helium drop if there is a helium drop yeah this always has some potential but again like it's show time we're talking about we expect very good defense on the start of the map uh early on against any one of these attacks here yeah that is an empty nice bait from big gabe right like actually uh using even the thrusters there to try and bait showtime into thinking hey i am just leaving with my units you can go in but really there's a mind there i wonder if hermione is specifically cutting a corner with the lack of scouting in the other game because it's showtime you know and like we talked about before he's not one of those players that's super likely to throw in a proxy because yesterday when hirome played against max pax he didn't scout super early but he scouted i think after he made his barracks whereas this game is keep that entirely it feels like he's so sure that there is not going to be any sort of proxy void ray or anything like that that is willing to actually take that risk yeah it's a little bit of cutting corners i suppose a little bit of respect as well right whenever you're cutting corners it's because you feel like you need that extra edge and they both do it's not like you're your mourinho necessarily feels like an underdog here by any stretch of the imagination it's just that i think these two respect each other enough to say to say you know if i just play the safest that i can you're good enough that you're gonna get ahead good time i really love his base build here and like just beautiful he's good about everything like the robo you know at the expansion is not too far forward it's gonna it's probably the best spot that really you could hope for for a robot to be making uh colossus and stuff down the line really one of the produces that when i was playing professionally like you would always look at and like try and model your style after i mean depending on how aggressive or passive you like to play of course but he's capable of mixing in some big aggressions but it seems like he hasn't dared yet going for anything like that and that's also because he knows that you know if that gets scouted then against him and you're almost like pretty much done from the get-go because he'll know exactly how to defend most of them yeah that's very interesting yuan because when you were a pro player i would have imagined that it's showtime that was taking uh tips and strategies from you dude that was never better than showtime at this game really oh i don't think so uh i think so you won but look at this 10101 to 101 supplier for a second these guys are so evenly matched and they're one and one in score not perfect indeed showtime has definitely come a long way from those early days of starcraft 2 solidifying himself as one of the best products in the world let's see if he's good enough to stop the big game as he pushes on fourth to the third of showtime i'm not the biggest fan of that shield battery i've talked about in another cast but usually it's a little bit too exposed for my liking this charge lots going potentially into her death here comes the phoenix looking for those pickups we'll get all of the widowmines beautifully after that revelation however the zelda still not enough to push into that bio will have to fall back to the shield battery is there a reinforcing colossus or anything like that i'm getting really worried for showtime yeah he went for a mass chargelot army against which hiro marine's kiting was just perfect at any lower level anywhere lower than 7000 mmr this probably would have worked perfectly and like the terran player would have been like what is this matt zelos how do i counter this but everybody is like mazzelot's like am i a joke to you it just kites him perfectly kills everything and wins the third map right out yeah a very narrow window there that big gabe had to exploit the colossus was actually just seconds away from spawning and helping a lot and like you mentioned that robo was in a good position enough that the closest could have been there just like five ten seconds later there would have been a colossus there and uh things for human ring would not have worked out so we're gonna go to a quick break and when we come back the resolution of the series [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Applause] we are back with the german derby i am a cat joined by todd and we are watching hero marine go at it against showtime hero marine currently leads two to one very exciting game so far and now we are headed to oxide for the fourth map and if showtime is d mower the wall i feel like gabe just transformed into godzilla or gabe's election and just tapped all over that wall and destroyed it in the last two games that's really what we just saw babe still i love that and spawning in the bottom left hand side of the map playing for mouse sports for something like 11 years it is game still [Music] his opponent in the blue it's better defense against all the offense of his opponents think about fan big it is show time [Music] and they got the same kind of setup with the window and everything next to them you know like other blinds fall all the way down yeah it's that german efficiency man they know exactly what angle they need to be sitting at what angle to uh absorb the exact amount of sunshine of rays of sunshine that they need that's so silly yeah it's perfect i know showtime actually has insanely good posture it's somebody almost makes me feel uncomfortable when i see him at events because he's always sitting straight i've never seen this guy slouch in my whole life and i always feel terrible because you know like you know as well like cashew nuts like well slash all over like see it's so funny but this guy never ever i once asked him about it too and he was like no it's easier to always sit straight and stuff like is it it's easier if you're used to it i guess and and if you work those muscles out you should know about that i got a personal trainer todd and he was teaching me some exercises so that the muscles in my back which are non-existent right now uh tense up and i can have better posture nice yeah but increase that longevity uh i guess playing video games and sitting in the chair the probe died it seems like showtime's always pushing the limits or how long he can uh delay the command center and here we're in fully knowing that sent two stp is down early and he actually got the drew the first blood here very nicely so that's something where there's not gonna be any follow-up scout it's chrono boosting the uh adapt here again yeah some words escaped the mouth of showtime as that probe died as well i'm not sure what they mean or couldn't uh really read his lips but certainly a little bit annoyed i'm not perhaps fully immersed in the game just yet so let's see if that is not too big a blow to recover from we all predicted a three to two we all want a game five so i think uh everyone has to be ready for showtime right now give him your energy i mean the games have been action-packed and they've been really nice but when i see a best of five i always hope we're gonna be seeing this very long game you know like at least squeeze one in there you know epic battles everywhere units being traded map getting mined out always fun to see maybe some super late game composition i would love to see that the adept is just gonna poke in and see what's up there's not much up however but this marines are actually going to push on back or forward rather the adept is going to be pushed back as it shades on forward that was a lot of back and forth in game one actually showtime did fantastic with the blink opener that he went for so perhaps looking to repeat this here we see uh the robo now going down he has already got double gateway building up that probe counts for now and then the question is going to be when he takes the third base behind this i want to see more dark shrine as well you know like just punish the stairs just stand some dts in yeah i think showtime did amazing with that he has a pseudo wall off at the front ready to be completed if there was something like a helium rambai but big gabe we know is not doing that just has the one single helium that he's been scouting with and to some degree has forced this reaction out of showtime so uh it ends up working out well for him showtime looking to take a third sometime soon as he clears the area actually that he's not being spotted gone there's four gates so the plan might be to defend whatever is being thrown at him and you know there's gonna be something thrown at you and then counter attack but in this case hero man is opening raven so he might just play very thirdly let that energy build up on the raven and then do the move out you know two with two three tanks to go for a big push which i think that's gonna be a good build against what showtime's doing but there is also always a chance it goes south really fast where you know if that raven gets caught at the front and sniped then suddenly you you're looking at a very different game than you would have been otherwise all right it looks like the trajectory of this italian is barely going to miss actually the word prism if it had been clicked onto the third right away it would have actually spotted that war person and that would be huge information for big gabe he could already be in a good position and big gabe's actually gonna spot all of the stalkers back at home for show time which might tell him that that he's safe for the time being but it's enough talkers that it actually forces a bunker and a tank to siege on the high ground the war person however is a little bit sooner than he might have expected three stalkers and an adept that should be enough to one shot suvs but a beautiful mind he's gonna take care of one of those stalkers leaving not enough firepower for those one shots and a big game with a wonderful defense so far yeah very well concealed here we find the behind the refinery instead of the main base on the other side just the stalkers were poking at the front but irma didn't overreact to uh the attack in the main base and stand everything out there he left the bunker at the expo so it takes it too risky to actually attack into so great defense by hero marine like they were both playing a crazy mind game here of like they want to defend whatever is being thrown at them first in the case of showtime though he was really hoping there would be like some sort of medivac drop here that he could have defended perfectly look at the vision he made those islands so early on the right-hand side like he's he should be seeing the raven on the right-hand side actually flying past now thanksgiving but he's not reacting so he might have actually missed that because he was like oh can he get a cancel on this dc that would be huge we'll actually get a kill not a cancel that's huge the raven at the same time has already killed two probes showtime will evacuate but that's a huge win for showtime and by the way johan i think that this is a lot of information gathered from that helion earlier it actually went to check the third before suiciding into the natural to find a lot of stalkers and upon not seeing the third big gabe thinks okay you're stalker or leading me showtime was committing to somewhat of an aggression but he actually had a probe that was dropping the pylon in the back of that third so right after the helium went by that third was dropped so hero marine might have been overreacting a little bit potentially this this base by showtime is not as late as it might have uh been in hero marine's eyes now he has to make something happen here especially after getting his third cc snipe he does restart the third cc but this is a dangerous push from big gabe yeah showtime was trying to buy some time here he's going to be forced to take the engagement before the tanks each but now that they're finally stitched this is so hard for him to actually fight against this thermal lens is so far away from finishing charge is about to finish but we saw how zealots are not always the best units to try and defend against these early game aggressions here the battery is gonna help a little bit but showtime needs way more units right now to defend this position he does have a couple of force fields available potentially hero marine with a big steam to try and take care of that shield battery will not be able for the time being and the colossus even without his range we'll there's a fourth and fifth tank coming here to reinforce this position for the stage on that base hero marine looking like he might be about to punch his ticket into the semi-finals of the upper bracket showtime looking to try and go around with an immortal on the tanks that's a great move but i don't know if he has enough yeah unfortunately ill time does hero marine chose to move in at the same exact time and now with the second colossus actually could show time stabilized it's looking very difficult the raven's still causing trouble in his main base the immortals still looking for an angle to try and poke at those tanks a single salad will try to do what he can but instead it's gonna be big gabriel<br><!-- wp:image {"id":1776,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"}
