sega has delayed all physical editions of sonic colors ultimate in europe just two weeks up from the planned september 7th release date of the remastered game sega europe has taken to twitter to announce the delay of the physical release due to unforeseen logistical issues they wrote due to unforeseen logistical issues or physical editions of sonic colors ultimates which include both the standard and curing addition will be delayed across all emea markets excluding australia and new zealand the publisher went on to reveal that although the physical release has been delayed the digital release across all first party platforms remains unaffected and will still release on september 7th the remastered version of the game will bring enhanced visuals and graphics 4k and 60fps on pc xbox and playstation refined controls additional features and a new rival rush game mode sonic colors ultimates will be released digitally for xbox one ps4 nintendo switch and pc on september 7th it will also be playable on xbox series x and s and ps5 via backwards compatibility no updated release date for the physical editions in europe has been announced yet
