The magnificent Russia: Getting to know Russia with Danila Sergeevich | EDP Live Talk 2

okay that’s right okay it’s 140 now okay uh let’s start now okay good afternoon students and teachers and good morning to our guest speaker danila okay thank you for joining this edp event today and thank you for daniella for uh joining us for the second day yesterday we had the first day and today is the second day uh okay uh please allow me uh you see ahmadi who will assist you to run this program i’d like to inform first that tessa matunas ungul or tunasunggul high school has special program to improve students ability in english which names is edp or english development program it’s one of our prime school programs which is conducted regularly and then as for today we have special event for edp okay which is in the form of live talk and then um the what is it the topic for the live talk today is the magnificent russia getting to know russia and we will present you especially our special guest speaker daniela sergio that’s right okay from russia okay he is going to share us some information about his country about russia okay and then so in this live talk uh firstly danila will um introduce himself first and then perhaps would like to give us the presentations of um yeah at lunch about his country and then later on the students and teachers are allowed to ask questions after the presentation from other grand speaker okay uh let’s start now okay by saying uh bismillah all right now uh please danila i will let you uh start your introduction and presentation okay thank you for my introduction um hello everyone my name is danila and i’m 30 years old and i live in russia now in beautiful city saint petersburg but this city is not my homeland my homeland is knows beerus and this city is in the middle of russia and uh a bit late i will show you some photos from noah’s business so what i do i’m a software developer in java language and i’m i developed some special software for my company about my hobbies my free time i love to read language literature and russia too some fantasy and cfi um also i love to watch tv and tv shows uh traveling to i really fond of asia and i really like to with with countries and talk with people who live in asia my favorite hobby and summer season is airsoft it is a kind of military simulation game where we use special equipment to simulate some military actions so this game is really popular in russia and a lot of mens and women men and women play this game so but i don’t have any you know normal photo to show to show you this process so you may try to find this game on youtube just airsoft gameplay and you will see how does it look like um what else what else i love trolling as i said and in last year i lived in three different cities and this actions helped me to enrich my knowledge about russia and now i will show you how russia looks like not not entire russia but some differences which you can which you may meet if you will go in russia so as you know russia is the biggest country in the world and we have a lot of climate belts and different places so now you can see my home city north beers and this is a night shot and you see now you see a part of novus disk because novosibirsk is splitted by two parts by rival and mostly people live in a right path and you see different light spots it means people live there and this is the city center where a lot of offices and business centers are so next photo this is a shot which made from left part of city and you see a simple bridge for cars and people and subway bridge we have subway system and our city and this uh this subway bridge is the longest subway bridge in the world so it happens that something biggest in the world in north brisk and next photo this is oprah theater and this is one of the famous place in my home city and you can see that north beast has a lot of green and trees and grasses here uh yeah you can see but uh in this water in this one you can see it but north suburbs is placing in very not severe but uh rough uh weather conditions and in summer we we can have plus 35 but plus 40 i don’t remember but plus plus 30 or 35 we can have at the temperature outdoor but in [Music] in the winter we we can have way more lower temperature and oh another photo this one shows shows you a railway node because the north suburus has historically been a center of sorting the roads in important goods from far west from russia to east of russia i don’t know how to move this bar with tools of zoom from my top screen and i don’t know what to do next okay let’s do that uh so this is another photo of northwest you see again this tree is blooming but next one this is exact same place as i as i explained to you we and also have four different seasons winter summer autumn spring and this one photo from the middle of uh winter and you see everything is covered with snow and we we have a lot of snow and this uh snowfalls is the real problem for north versus after snowfall or blizzard our city usually blocked by traffic jams and snow hips everywhere people cannot reach their [Music] their job or universities or schools and this is real this is a real problem and we have our subway system but it’s not really developed as we as we want uh another photo yes opera theater and this square this place before opera seattle is covered by snow but it this photo showed us that this place was well cleaned before it shut and just for comparison compare compare this water a lot of trees grass and everything is green and the next one everything is white and covered by snow so this difference [Music] pushes people in north brisk have three different wear sets for entire year and in in summer you may wear just t-shirts and shirts but in in winter you must have a really warm jacket because it’s really cold outside or even windy and you must have special winter boots which will keep your foot or feet well and not frozen and trousers too so usually and very very when we have very very low temperature we even wear two pairs of trousers because it’s really cold outside but those brisk it’s not the coldest place in in russia and in limbo city so and before we will see next uh photos i want to show you the scale of russia so russia biggest city the biggest city what in total biggest country in the world and for example last winter i spent my time in sochi sochi it is the southeast city in russia it means in the middle of winter outside temperature is around 15 or plus 15 or even 20 degrees outdoor but in the same time in other cities it is in the middle of winter and for example as in north brisk minus 35 is gay and when i came back from north from sochito north bruce last winter in the end of january we with my girlfriend we flew from sochi and it was plus 15 outside and i came back to northwest and it was -35 outside just try to imagine this enormous difference 50 graduate degree differences by just by four hours by plane and it is possible in russia and the scale yes again the scale sochi is here you know it is a black sea and but no spears is just in another side of russia and it’s really far from one place to another place but as i’ve told the nurse brusque and it is the most not coldest place in my country so here this photo was made from sochi and this is black sea and you see nothing is frozen water is liquid but yeah people wear war some were warm clothed because it’s windy here and near near water is a bit coldest than without water so plus 15 but you feel it like plus eight to plus seven so you must wear some something the world but in the same art in another city in russia you may have minus 64. and this 50 has named no risk in a risk risk is most crowded northern city in the world around 170 000 people live here and minus 64 and minus 60 minus 50 it is normal weather conditions for citizens of no risk yeah i don’t know how to explain this difference but even for me minus 50 is it’s it is critical temperature but people live here and this conditions uh they are okay for people who live in the city in russia were really you know andrew and prepared for such for such calls from from nature but why people live here and no risk this place does not look like something pleasant for for just vulnerable life because of natural conditions yeah not only with wes but this lands they are really rich for natural sources of minerals and years user built enormously big manufacturing and facility for digging up these minerals from from earth and because of that this city appeared but this city not only they called this living place in russia now remove it um also this city is really snowy and you see a man he is trying to dig up his car because by by white knight everything in city was covered by snow not one one centimeter on ten centimeters now uh i guess here is more than two meters of snow because really we see that first floor of of block house almost covered by snow and next water people they are just trying to clean roads on in the city and layers low it is i guess three or four meters tall and i don’t know how do they survive here because i have never been to no risk and [Music] there are some reasons why because it is nothing to see in a risk really it’s just a city for people who are working in a facility and it’s quite far placed from any other living place in russia so i show i show new sochi it’s on the black seashore but no risk is somewhere in the middle of nowhere i would say and we see here is no risk and just just feel the scale black sees hair and no risk somewhere here and my screen doesn’t allow me to show this distance between these two places and to get to know risk is not so easy for example you can do it by by very very way in essay but in the winter this river is frozen and you cannot get that by you know by ferry or somewhere by water and you must wait for time when the river is not frozen and you may use a fair boat or some other water ways to travel in and as you can see on the map no roads here only one winter old and one winter road means in in summer this road does not exist why because everything here is unmelted and almost all looks like um like bulk with a lot of uh hidden uh you know hidden uh dangerous places where you can even draw but in the middle of winter it’s frozen and you can get there and people deliver some trade goods and other required supplies by two stage first stage you must deliver it from this uh railway to dodin it’s not a city even it is a village village and then wait for winter road and after only after you must reach oh no you’re not must you may reach no risk by wins away and this is only one example of russia and as i told you the biggest country yes but we have a lot of time wells in our country i don’t know how many time belts do you have in your country but in russia we have 11. and most western city in russia has named petropalos kamchatsuki and as you can see this place in the kamchatski peninsula and time difference between most western city and most eastern city kaliningrad 11 hours and when people in metropolis kamchatsky go into sleep people in kaliningrad just waking up and this another example of russia how big is it and how difficult sometime just to connect with people because if just example just try to imagine you are trying to work with people who live 11 hours from you and you cannot just talk with them because you’re waking up going to sleep so it’s like 11 hours differences yes 11 hours from the side of west to the east yes and as i told you now i live in saint pete [Music] or saint petersburg it is the second biggest city in russia and for few um thousands of years it was a capital it was the capital of russian power and peter the first he decided to build a new port city with the access to sea and we to have an opportunity to have athlete a military fleet of course and he decided to build saint peter’s book here in the in the fitsky bay finsky bay because here is finland and now i live really close to finland and this city old part of city is kind of cooled with a lot of rivet channels and even the main body of riva and old part it looks really really fine and good because a lot of noble people came from moscow here to build their new life and they invited a lot of architecturals a lot of famous builders and a lot of i don’t know existed designers i know modern designers in that time but i’m not sure so they invited a lot of people who knew how to build a beautiful city and in the sun city center you may see a lot of examples of italian design and block house for say it’s uh german design french design and even i know netherland design and really you can meet it even in on one street but then it was not enough place to all people who wanted to live in this uh beautiful city and they started to build their houses uh quite far from city center and if this island this one and this part they look good they’re they’re great and fancy and old-fashioned but new parts are kinda outside from river i mean i’m talking about right part and left part they look ugly why because people didn’t have enough money to build small and big fancy houses and they didn’t have money to invite provide some architectures of windows and they decided to build cheap and tall houses and maybe some of you read john ronald tolkien and [Music] his famous book lord of rings and in this book plays motto is exist is existed and it means the place where the evil forces live and here with my girlfriend we’re joking about old part of city which looks fancy and good and nice and a new part of city where which looks like border because you you if you go if you get there you’ll see a lot of high tall skyscrapers for people and they look ugly and we i would not recommend you to visit this place because it’s not really good for sexy and cultural enrichment yourself i would recommend you to visit old part of city city center hermitage hermitage it is one of the biggest cultural museum in the world and it this place appeared because our queen catering the second she decided to no she she didn’t prefer spend her time with solving some empire issues she really loved she was fond of having rest every day and he she she kind of cured from this city bus and established her own hermitage people were a place where hermit sleeves and then a lot of people started to bring to her a lot of pieces of arts some drawing and pictures some statues and other pieces which deserve to be collected so and then this amount of art started to be really big and she decided to build a whole museum or special building where she where she could uh collect and store all these gifts so and now uh hermitage in the rules city center of uh saint pete and it is not only one building it it is several building and this place i really would recommend to see but you cannot see everything in this museum by one day i guess it would take i don’t know a few weeks to see them all so and now i would how i finished and my introduction introduction so and i guess we can go to question questions yes can we yes yes sure all right so thank you thank you for the explanations and um it’s so interesting to know a russia glance and also um your what is it your hometown right in novosibirsk and also the place that you live now in saint petersburg all right so as for now i will uh let the students and the teachers also to ask questions to danila um and before we started i would like you to uh i will ask the students first okay to ask questions you may use the features of raised hand okay and after that don’t forget to introduce yourself okay please say your name and also your grade and all and as for the teachers later if the teachers also want to ask questions then you can also mention your name and then the subject that you teach okay um so let’s start with the first questions okay students you may raise hand and then you can ask questions to daniella okay three participants raise hand let me see they’re freaking and here’s the other one asan okay so let’s start from the freak first okay debris please all right sir my name is stephen i’m from 12th grader uh first of all i wanted to say thank you for showing us a really beautiful place so my question is uh for now we know that it’s still in pandemic situation right especially in indonesia for school we have we need still to do the online school so uh how about in russia it’s is that still we they need to on doing online or it’s come back to normal separation thank you so thank you for question i’m explaining the whole situation russian with pandemic and now only russia looks like that no russia does not care about panzerbee and you know in schools i mean elementary middle schools and universities uh everyone is allowed to visit at this place and only even without mask really yeah i’ve read this yesterday and only if you go outside and you want to visit an own grocery or supermarket you must wear your mask but without it you are allowed to go to school and university and maybe you know maybe not in russia we have three different vaccines which were made in russia and i guess more than 30 percent of our rush population is already vaccinated and the situation is not really good we have we still have a lot of cases by day by day around 15 15 000 per day but we are when do and we are kind of reinforced by our nature are they expecting to have 64 in one city and plus 35 and minus 40 in other cities and we don’t care i would say really yes a lot of people died but we decided to live as normal as we could without any severe restrictions we really want to live normal life and cinema theaters they work with the half load i mean only 50 of uh seats is forbid are forbidden but other half are open and you can buy a ticket and go to uh cinema theater and watch a film and classic theater is open to are open too and really a lot of public places they are open and you can go but where you must come it’s all but fusion people don’t even wear masks you know and stations is going to be better i guess okay so how is it that freak is that clear it’s lit clear thank you okay thank you david for the questions all right so now we go to the second okay the second uh questions um i was mistakenly um say that there was actually one also participants was always hand earlier so it’s arya okay i will let arya to ask questions okay arya please hello mr danila let me introduce myself first my name is arya i’m from grade 12. i want to ask you about what country do you think is the most beautiful and why uh most beautiful what uh we must decide first what we want to do in this country and then we must choose it okay you might think that okay let’s say that daniela say that he has traveled to some countries right is that right yeah okay so and then i think arya was asking about uh do you think uh which country do you think is the most beautiful one from the countries that you ever visited perhaps from the view from the scenery viewer scenery i would say in philippines because i really love i found the islands and i really like love to visit them and philippines and indonesia too is consist of islands only now motherland and continents and i visited three or four islands in philippines and every island gives you other other view which you haven’t seen in previous one and terrain and natural nature is really different everywhere and also sierra reefs when you can snorkeling and just women women’s really beautiful cat thank you okay is that enough yeah all right okay thank you arya for the questions okay now i’m going to give the opportunity for the grade 10 first and then i’ll see here that there is one of the great tanned students who us who raised han okay as um azam you may ask your questions please hello my name is you can call me azam i’m from great tan and so my question is uh do you speak any other languages besides russian and english i would not say that i’m speaking english well but no i don’t i don’t speak any other languages but i would like to know other language but i don’t know which one because we with my girlfriend who are thinking we are pointing about what we will do next and where we want to live and in russian in russia it’s it’s no really good places to live for us with my girlfriend because we have some visa uh hobbies and not every city allow us to have this hobby and we now we’re thinking about europe and asia and uh the place which we will choose will decide which language we will start learning okay thank you but just for hobby just for just for hoping not for general purpose i would like to speak icelandic a language you know this small small tiny uh country in the atlantic ocean iceland and they have for my opinion they have really you know interesting language and i would like to speak as landing because they are interesting yeah yeah the way they pronounce what is yes pronunciations or of pronunciation and structures words i would say this really interesting language but it’s really difficult to learn because not a lot of native speakers for uh with the icelandic language and by self-tutoring i say it is almost impossible to learn speak icelandic all right so what about indonesia and bahasa indonesia indonesian language uh as as you told me indonesia has a lot of languages and dialects and maybe you have one one formal uh language uh but i don’t know is your language is tunnel i mean one what could uh mean different means by your pronunciation yeah uh well i would say that as for example china language one word has different meanings by your pronunciation i mean really for example head if you pronounce it it means one thing but head means another thing that’s right yeah well i’d like to uh let you know first that we do have our formal language which is called as bahasa indonesia bahasa means language so you can say it as indonesian language or bahasa indonesia so both of them are the same and then uh yeah even though we have like um hundreds of local languages in indonesia because we have hundreds of uh ethnic groups but we do have that um language which is formal that is used for yeah like formal locations such as at school at offices and public places like that okay and then about um is there any words that have similar meaning is that what you mean right yeah one word for i think there are some some words which has similar different meaning i mean different meaning yes well actually uh like like in english too right in english there are some words which has different meanings for only one word yeah but i would say that um indonesia is quite easy to learn i mean comparing to such languages like french perhaps or german that they have the uh what is that uh yeah quite complicated one or perhaps spanish that’s quite complicated one okay maybe i don’t want to also i will know what i will add extra with to this question now learning language not only gives you opportunity to speak with the foreigners now it gives the opportunity to enrich your mind because for example i don’t know how many tenses do you have an indonesian language but in russia we have only three dances really present past and future and at all but in english language we have 21 and understanding this information [Music] improves your mind because you after that after this understanding you starting thinking differently because uh language it’s not a tool for speaking it’s tool for thinking but you told me that russian language is quite uh complicated to learn isn’t it yes it is complicated because of uh different strange alphabets alphabet is long yes 32 letters in alphabet and we even have letter which you cannot pronounce really it is impossible to pronounce this letter but this letter is exist in in our in our language and we use it every not everywhere but really spreadly all right and he taught me some of russian words but i i’m afraid that i forgot it but i remember thank you is possibility thank you in russia it’s possible stress stressed uh last syllable is stressed okay so it’s possible yeah is that right all right okay and thank you in bahasa indonesia can you say yes okay that’s great this is an illusion all right okay thank you azam for the questions thank you okay assam is that enough oh yes all right then okay thank you azam now next questions uh we’ll be asked by yumna okay you’re not from grade 12. okay please um all right um i wanna ask uh is there any assumptions that you’ve heard from foreigners about russia that you think is either completely true or completely false thank you [Music] assumptions about russia which is completely false but foreign foreigners think that is true am i right yes i know most famous assumption that in russia everywhere every citizen has his own ware and nuclear reactor but it’s false of course i was known have uh almost known has uh own bear and i don’t know why this misunderstanding existed exists and that russian people do not smile now we smile but we smile to people whom we know and in russia it is kind of a cultural thing that we don’t smile for unknown people but to know people means just a handshake if you if i had checked you i will smile to you but without it it’s not social norm for us um other thing that we’re drinking vodka every day not it’s wrong we don’t drink vodka every day and now main social trend is health life and healthy life a lot of people started going to gyms to outdoor activity they given up with the smoking drinking and other bad habits and i really like this trend for our our thoughts room in russia and what else what else [Music] do you know maybe you may tell me about some assumptions and i will reveal or i will not oh i will not reveal your awards is there any assumptions that you know about russians and then you would like to confirm it to danila uh not really not really okay but some of the examples that danila has explained i guess uh it represents the questions of yours is that right i’m sorry mish uh i mean like nila has answered some of the assumptions that people might think about russian and russian people is that right okay all right so well you know guys that um some people might think that russians do not usually smile but we can see that danila keeps smiling here right okay so uh is that all yumna yes it’s enough all right then okay thank you yumna okay next questions okay i will let um teachers now to ask if you would like to ask something oh hi delay’s hand okay um okay i will let heidi first to ask adi please yes hello hello okay hello my name is from grade 12. i want to ask you about how much much for living in russian especially for a student how much will living for normal life in russia for students yeah i have to live in costing yes miss do you mean the living cost i’ll get the living car understood understood so this is a complicated question why because we have two really developed city in our country moscow it is the capital of russia and saint pete and the second biggest city and of course living coast here in moscow and in saint pete way more costly than other cities for example i guess in my city in north brisk it is tries or fifth uh cheaper that to live than in moscow and even price for universities but i guess in in moscow and even as in hospice we have special programs for foreign students and i guess you can be taught in our russian universities for free but you must pay only for renting living property and to give you some numbers okay just renting flat in moscow with the opportunity to reach city center by 30 minutes may cost you [Music] at least one thousand dollars at least per month just for renting property without any any food anywhere any clothes any any hobbies so moscow is really really expensive city and in a few years five years in a row or ten years now moscow is in the top of expensive expensive or most expensive city in the world to live and i would recommend you to live in saint pete because here is way more affordable property and products and goods they are a bit cheaper than in saint pete and of course in other cities as known supers cascasing as the leaking of growth and other cities they are cheaper but level of infrastructure and city development is very very more or less than in san peter moscow you must decide where you want to live so in norse british we have a lot of foreign foreign students and they go to northwest from africa from asia from china even from europe but europe is less gives us less students than other places from the world thank you so much okay so how is that uh would you like to do are you interested in learning in russia um i don’t know because my friend okay like boarding school islamic boarding school yeah islamic and then he told me about jerusalem i mean like education in russian and it’ll be like if you want to uh start the research like biology or science uh rousseau is very uh nice to learning so uh for now i miss uh it’s interesting to research like um it’s that uh yeah it’s researchers you do then and then uh i think so if i have much money to uh for uh live in rozier so i i i wanna add extra to your answer um about research and study in russia yes we have a few institutes and universities which may give you a really good fundamental education but we have not enough laboratories and research centers to apply your knowledges and a lot of students who graduated from that universities usually they go abroad because in abroad they can find not education but they can equipment and they can they may find a teams not attempts teams for work and to where where they could apply their knowledges and in russia we have this to this disproportion we can give good education really fundamental based education in science but we cannot give them laboratories enough and places in in that laboratories we have good one but in in them not enough places for any students for any student who has graduated from university but does it mean that i think russia is a good place i mean one of the good places one of good uh one of countries that has like um just a lot of facilities i mean to do research you know when you are let’s say when you’re in university or even in uh a manchester program or a past doctorate and then they want to uh let’s say do research in russia i think um russia has like more facilities in that and those kind of things right not really as i told uh for everyone we have good education but we have not enough places to work after in science i see i mean so to work after the college okay so does it mean that um many russians let’s say they go abroad to look for a better job something like that yes like most of them i mean who had really good marks and good examples and good [Music] graduation job usually they go abroad i think a lot of friends of my girlfriend they got education in novosibirsk and we have really famous in russia university north brisk state university and they almost all of them had graduation as a doctor of science or i don’t know or my gist or science and they worked a few years in russia and they almost all of them decided to go abroad and some of them now two of them now working in germany and uh some special physical laboratory uh two other two now they are in great britain in i don’t remember [Music] the name of this university other two they are working in france and one of her friends now she’s working in the us so as you can see a lot of good students they’re going abroad because in russia we have our issues with science you know as i told you twice we can give education yes but we cannot give you guaranteed place in laboratory in good laboratory i got it right well let’s explain uh by the way what is the let’s say the best university in in russia again please what is the best university in russia let’s say um like the highest rank in the world moscow state university and other one in moscow too but i don’t remember really maybe academy of name of bauman so it is a physical academy okay well that’s interesting thank you how is that dee do you want to ask more questions is that enough it’s enough okay that’s enough okay thank you for asking questions uh right now um we go to next questions all right next question please you may raise hand and ask questions from grade 10 i guess from grade 10 only one student who asked questions goodness yes miss easy yeah do you want to ask questions yeah yes um can i ask more than one question maybe two or three okay uh i want to ask i think it’s also about the education system in russia so what do you think about the education system or standard of the education system in your country is it good enough or is it needs uh to be developed um so i understood i got a question so for nowadays i do not agree with our education system i mean school education system and university education system too right uh during your sa there one of the best system of education is in the in the world uh was built but then by at the time of uh mr fallen we we have ruined our system and before that we had elementary school then middle school and after middle school you may apply to college and this layer of education had a name middle high degree middle high education middle high because you only must spend two years for having your education in prophecy now oprah no prophecy profession but high degree means you must spend at least five years for education but after some reforms and changes in our education ministry uh now in school you must spend 11 years 11. and then and then two years in college for middle high degree or four years in university to have a bachelor degree and two years extra to have engineering degree or registered degree but if you are studying in medicine [Music] in medical university you must meet at least seven not medical school medical university universities everywhere uh you must spend at least seven years and i disagree with this system because now people they do not understand what has been bachelor degree what does it mean what what the difference between middle high degree two years and four years and kind of high degree must you spend two years more to have your engineering profession or or you don’t or you mustn’t almost no one knows and i disagree i spent five years because i haven’t met these changes on my own example and i spent only five years and i have uh engineering degree but i do not work by my university profession okay so do you think there is some level that is not um so like it’s just wasting our time uh i guess in school 11 years it’s for everyone for over for everyone it’s it’s not good because some people they just don’t want to study 11 years they maybe they they want to spend 10 years have their finished middle degree and then go to college spend two years and then go to job go to having money but some people may don’t want to go this way and they want to spend 11 years and then five years at university and we must give them opportunity to choose but now we cannot in russia you can’t 11 years here and at least three or four years here and then two or three years depends of your your way of of your education and a lot of people now they uh disagree as i am and we see that our ministry of education they are changing the system they are changing rules and maybe they will decline this four plus two scheme in universe at in universities and maybe in school they kind of deny this scheme of 11 uh obligated years i hope they will thank you for the question i’m sorry i’m sorry thank you for the answers it uh it makes me know more about the education in your country thank you so by the way okay thank you guys for the questions okay so by the way i was curious myself like um you told us that um like someone must spend like 11 years uh to finish their education you mean that 11 years starting from the let’s say elementary school or primary school until until college until university is that right we we have kind school system and school system splitted to in on the two parts elementary school three years and eight years in middle school and all of it all of it is just school school school system it’s just for easy understanding for russians how how they their children uh will study i mean for example here in indonesia we also have the yeah i know that every country has different uh kind of education system like for example indonesia we spend like at least um i’m counting is like um 16 years i mean so let’s say the first elementary school or primary school it takes like six years okay we have grade one until grade six okay and then uh student usually start from the age of seven but of course before that we also have kindergarten so kindergarten let’s say for one or two years and then after that go to elementary school for about six years and then after elementary school and then the students will go to middle school or secondary school for three years and for high school the next three years so all together let’s say um if i calculate it from elementary school okay it’s not including kindergarten okay elementary school to to high school it takes like 12 years already six plus six it’s 12 years and then if let’s say the student and then enroll to university and then they will have to spend like at least four years or even five years it depends on how fast you can uh you can graduate but let’s say the normal thing is like four years so all together it’s like 12 plus four is like 16 years from elementary school until you graduate from university and after that and of course you can apply for a job like that so almost same stuff as in russia uh usually students they are graduating from universities at age in the age of 22 23 the same thing because you may apply [Music] you may give your children your child to school in the age of six or seven depends on depends only on you if you wanna kind of give it give him to someone who will take care you may give your children to school at six but maybe you we won’t do it at seven okay i see yeah yeah well yeah well it’s like more or less saying right we also hear uh like um people who graduated from university university will be at the age of 22 and or 21 no i mean 22 or 23. okay okay the same thing okay well goodness thank you for the questions okay now i’ll give the opportunity to uh to other students or teachers perhaps i think uh bu s team wants to ask questions okay st please uh do you hear me can you hear me yeah okay uh but it’s not about academic or else i want to know does you do you know about masha and bear my name is esthy [Laughter] as i read uh uh masha and the bear uh became most popular cartoon in the world yeah and i watched that too uh and i wanna know no no first i wanna uh i’ve seen some video that talk about masha and the bear is is it based on true story about the little girl who died because of a beer attack is that is that true i just want to know about that really fun question so much in the bear we have some granny tales about bears and marsha or it could be any woman name and usually in granny tale girly tales girl she does not die no she usually she survives against bear and i guess because of this famous spread story around our society our cartoon makers they they wear this cartoon but no masha she she lives that’s hawk’s west thank you danila yeah you know what because we love so much we love masha so much that cartoon [Laughter] so we worry about we worry about her i guess so is that all westy is that enough all right so thank you so much okay now let’s go to next questions all right so anyone who wants to ask questions you may raise hand please we still have about 15 minutes okay let’s see uh from grade 10 oh hi oh hi delay’s i want to know about a drink because uh mr radina uh mentioned about a popular drink is vodka no it is not oh no [Laughter] it’s a famous drink from russia it is famous i don’t like i don’t love vodka i don’t drink at all you know i don’t drink it and i don’t smoke but this popularity of different drinks depends of city you know and in far east and far north of russia what is popular yes but in now we are kind of accepting every play and we are giving up with really hard rings i mean as vodka whiskey and the tequila drinks which have really high percentage of alcohol mostly in russia people going to drink just beer simple beer and now it’s really famous in russia to have kind of craft beer when where some group of people they decided to to cook to brew their own drink their own kind of beer and in saint pete it’s quite popular you may go through street and sea craft craft brewery craft brewery brewery and i would say beer it’s it’s more popular than vodka averagely in russia what was your question actually yeah i wanna ask i didn’t wanna try me no [Laughter] popular in russia and i want to ask about uh what drink is as popular as vodka in russia like tea or oh about whole drinks uh usually it is tea yes because in a cold season we must warm up ourselves and we usually drink some hot drinks and tea is popular yes but coffee too and i would say in cities in the big cities people more tend to drink coffee hot hot coffee but in some kind of province uh where city or villages and country cities which are not really developed people usually drink tea but i would not recommend it to drink russian tea because we don’t have sufficient natural conditions to grow up a normal good tea as from ceylon or india and [Music] i don’t drink tea too and i don’t drink coffee i don’t drink i drink just milk or just just water so that’s for her the hot drink heidi that’s for the hot rain right okay because uh temperature in russia is called here so uh there i need to drink some hot coffee tea or something so you may find hot coffee in big city everywhere it’s really popular okay okay i i might um like like i might heard i might hear that um like for example uh the reason why russians drink vodka because especially in winter when the temperature drops extremely let’s say and then of course they need to heat up to warm up their bodies so that’s why they drink vodka but you as you say to yourself that you don’t drink right so and also you don’t drink vodka so uh what do you usually drink during winter it means i i i prefer leaf not in place where the temperature outside below zero below zero in the winter season and now we are in our search to find this place where we will live comfort we are where we will live comfortably but when i lived in norsebirds i used to drink hot water mixed with ginger and honey and ginger may warm you as good as what but what gives you way more negative side effects but ginger does not but is that right that people drink uh russian people drink vodka too to warm up their body in winter now it is a deceiving opinion that vodka warming you up now what could just kinda increase your no makes your blood uh not so tough and it’s trimming more fast by your wings but it makes these effects only on coverage of your skin and inner organs for example heart or belly or liver uh in after your drunk vodka they become less blood supplied so it gives way more uh bad side effects and positive really and if you if you wanna if you want to warm up in a cold place and you have nothing but vodka i would recommend you to just to cover your your skin by vodka oh to cover the skin by vodka not to drink it no not even color so don’t drink vodka when you’re frozen don’t drink vodka oh don’t drink vodka when you’re freezing like that yes it’s false opinion that it helps you know it it will not oh i see so maybe that’s kind of one of the assumptions that people make regarding to like russian habits like that they yes if you drink alcohol you feel you you feel hit you feel warm but this effect not it’s not lasting long just for a few minutes and after you have side effects negative side effects i see so um okay it doesn’t last long all right okay well thank you i’ll see now uh there are two participants that want to ask questions okay so i will definitely ask another question actually the same person sorry actually that’s okay it’s really a weird question i think but i s really curious about business so actually back to 2020 when the first phantom me so i hear news about the government was using a lion to make the citizens stay indoors just like this see russian is using 500 slaves is that dry but logically that’s uh effective ways but i don’t know definitely i think you saw it in the meme it is it is meme yes but usually we don’t have clients you know in our in our flats and we have lions only in zoo in zeus and this is meme yes and i would i would trust it if it was a bear but it is a lion yeah why is a lion it should be bear because russia is well known with the bear right [Music] sorry [Music] now uh our government just forbid our quite forbid us to visit our job just for three days and they they denied this measure okay thank you thank you sorry for the question by the way it was okay no worries what about bears and wild nature you may try to find in youtube some videos how russians meet uh mid bears and you will see that we’re not really afraid of bears that’s really it’s like a kangaroo in australia not like kangaroo bears they are way more dangerous than kangaroo but usually they’re afraid of people in russia yes and they visit uh settler places with people satellite i mean when they are hungry i mean only after woodland fires or some natural disasters they just may not have enough food or provision to feed up small bears or themselves and they go to living places where they smell the stench of food or some eatable thing and you may see them in some parts of russia but not in everyone in a big city it is impossible to meet a bear really you know in my home city in north springs you may meet a player but you must drive 50 or 100 kilometers far from from city really and you you don’t drive 100 kilometers on one side every day well i told you that i really if one day i go to russia i really want to see bear i mean with my own eyes it’s not in the zoo but i really want to see you for real but you told me though that’s dangerous that’s not a good idea it’s quite dangerous yes and we don’t have uh safari service in russia you cannot predict where where will appear [Music] right so definitely do you want to see bear of course i did i want it but not closely to see in front of my face so it will be safe if we just sing at zoo or something behind the cage here yep behind the cage okay well thank you david for the questions at least now you’re not curious about that yeah yeah [Music] well actually well actually i’ve seen that meme too and then i was thinking the same like is that right but i haven’t asked any love personally we both have the same question i think i was curious about that too but i always forget every time i met danila and we had a conversation i always forget to ask that so thank you for representing me thank you okay they’re free okay i guess there is also one more um one more student who wants to ask questions but i cannot really see now the person is raising hand um could you please raise his hand again uh oh aprilia okay cha-cha all right you might ask question uh could you please turn your camera on cha-cha please turn your camera on first and then i can ask questions where does she know cha-cha are you here hello cha-cha hello are you here i guess josh i got problem with the connection okay there there she is okay chasha are you here now okay cha-cha please you may ask the questions i’m so sorry my connection is that i think okay you got a problem with your connection okay so does it mean that you cannot turn your camera on yeah all right then so is that okay so you can ask questions to vanilla please uh hello mr danila my name is from great tan uh mr danila have you ever to come to indonesia and if you have ever to come to indonesia what difference with your country like the people or the temperature or the way of life in there so i have never ever been to indonesia but i really want so and our next destination of our um permanent trip we are in permanent trip changing cities almost after 3 or 4 months one place and i really want to go to indonesia but now your country is closed and we cannot get there but we will when it will be open and i hope it will be open soon as soon as possible but regarding to conditions of pandemic but i’ve been to asia in different countries and the very first difference which you meet and feel when you step over from aircraft it is a smell of air in russia i don’t know how does my smile does how does air smell really because i used to smell this air for 30 years and it has no smell for me but in asia it’s really an astonishing difference because you step from aircraft and you feel this heat and moist in in atmosphere in air and you feel this really unknown things in air in i know in everywhere you know you smell different trees different soil you know different water and it’s really fascinating to me and when i in my very first time it was in thailand we stepped over bangkok airport outside outdoor and in airport it was i don’t know distillated air without any smell but in outdoor we felt this astonishing difference and i guess after this accident i fell in love with asia really i i love this region of earth because it’s really warm it’s it’s really comfortable to be to live and just to have a vacation okay how is that cha-cha hello are you there okay so danila has never been to indonesia but he planned to well actually you plan to come to indonesia this year right manila in september but unfortunately because of this pandemic situation our border indonesian border are closed so danila is not able to come here but perhaps next time when the border is opened then indonesia is surely one of his destinations to come yeah and then we would like to invite you later if you come to indonesia you can come to our school and meet our students here that would be great okay thank you is that enough i have one questions again is it okay okay one more questions yes please and so then what i want to know about their job system they’re like is it difficult or not to find a job in russia and i also want to know like what jobs are inherently meant by people in there thank you what job people i are in high demand by people ah high demand okay i understood i got you so it depends of your specialty and of your profession of course because when i graduated from my university i was in lack of job places because in my city it was not really required of professionals or specialists as i am as i was and i spent two two months to find my job and i was not satisfied with the working conditions and it was quite old facility with all the equipment and tools and it was really difficult to work there but then i changed my job and i solved id and now at sphere is i know over overheated and people who work in ite now is highly required in job market but if you have not really demanded speciality and no i don’t have any exact example but we have as really high required and not really high required [Music] i mean i guess that we have a lot of jurisdiction specialities in our country and not every graduated student from jurisdiction specialities may find a job in job market it’s complicated question and now we have [Music] requirements and building sphere of russia because because of pandemic a lot of people went back to their countries uh it is kind the future of russia in the building market in a simple job as just put bricks or some labors in know during how block house building now we not invited we we took not we took we you know we employed people from nearest country as uzbekistan kazakhstan turkmenistan and other countries in other countries but because of pandemic our government closed borders and all of these people they went back and now we in lack of people who just may build buildings and now it is required profession but what will happen after few years i don’t know i see how is that chacha is that quite clear yeah it’s great thank you okay thank you thank you so much okay uh now actually um before closing this uh this event actually i would like to give opportunity to uh students from binary ilmu okay let me see minar ilmu okay any one of you wants to ask something from binary so you can like ask one of you to ask questions to danila please bendy come on anyone if you want to ask questions you can just come forward and ask questions [Music] okay go ahead don’t forget to introduce yourself affairs [Music] okay hello my name you please is can you please i mean in front of the camera so we can see you alright so that’s the end okay okay then go ahead [Music] i want to ask something about russia okay so my question is i read about the part of the russia [Music] that there is mushroom college the heritage museum and there are more than their billion words of art on display there can you tell me what words are on display thank you you you asked me about hermitage and where is this museum and yeah which kind of arts it may gives you to see i i’ve told you about this museum in my introduction that this museum was established by katrine the second queen of russia and this museum has a lot of different arts pieces of arts from different ages from different epochs and it has also status also drawings also some crafts and to my shame i’ve never ever been to hermitage but i will go after two weeks when i will have my vacation my years for year vacation and i will spend one or two days in heritage to see these uh art pieces of arts uh yes and it ex not explains it shows you maybe million maybe two millions of art pieces i don’t know how many [Music] oh okay thank you okay thank you andra for asking the questions all right uh so i’m afraid that it’s six plus three here so it means that um ten no uh no it’s eleven it’s uh six plus 11 year time right vanilla okay uh guys we have four hours differences between indonesia and and st petersburg the city where danila lives now so it is still in the morning there and then we are now in the afternoon almost late afternoon and um and i believe that danila has to work now so i’d like to thank you for uh what is it thank you for um coming thank you for coming and thank you for your time uh to share with us about russia about habit about beautiful places and about all of the things that i think will give more knowledge to our students so thank you so much for that okay uh uh so before i close this event so let’s see let’s do a picture okay thank you all right so let’s take a picture together vu elsa could you please help me with the picture okay elsa are you there yeah wait all right okay
